While 3x01 last week was a quite good season opener, this week's ep 3x02 did pretty much disappoint me.
I was rather bored by the whole dreaming crap back home at the Vikings' village. This had way too much screentime.
The rest was kind of random (Rollo just hacking someone to death, because of a wrong angle of his leg, wtf????) and not much exciting too.
The best were the scenes with Lagertha, because, well, she's damn easy on the eyes ...
I just have to wonder, how eps like this one are possible, when there are only 10 eps at all???
Oh, and at the end as a "cliffhanger", Athelstan develops stigmata ... Jeez ... do we really need such transcendental stuff in a series like Vikings???
Speaking for me ... NO!!
They got already on my nerves last season with that crappy whole episode about their nordic religion, when they finally sacrificed humans to their gods.
I almost completely stopped watching the series, because I was absolutely bored by that ep.
Maybe the showrunners should concentrate more on the stories, less on all that dreamy and transcendantal crap and not superelevate that too much ...
