This was a really good ep, compelling to watch, I get into it and then it is over!
by far right now for me this and justified are the most compelling  shows I watch.

Sad though I was at tvbn and they had the wed cable ratings so I looked to see how this show did, and it was not in the top 100 which means under a .03 demo !!!!!!!!!!!!! and maybe less
 that 1 mill ! wow,  hard to believe the show cannot get or keep the neilsen crowd watching .
I dont think they care for historical based shows or period shows, as turn also did poorly.
Hopefully we get all of S-3 and maybe it can win some awards to keep it on and get a S-4.

The candy bar was spotlighted so some think she will be killed by a candy bar "It is so good"

now I just watched the new show "Allegiance" and it is very similar to The Americans.
It is on NBC on thursdays, and it did sort of bad in ratings for 1st show on the 5th.
guess the N people just dont like russian spy shows.

but it starts off a little campy then gets serious, and was pretty good.
Good enough I will keep watching, even though I know it wont get a S-2, unless it is done by nbc studios and the ratings dont go down.
The pilot was 1.1 on demo so it needs to go up not down and they just about always go down after 1st ep.
And it only had 4 mil.

In this show the parent spys quit, they made a deal to due 1 big thing and they were out.
years later their son goes to work for CIA and then russians want the parents back and him.
So the parents dont want to spy for Russians but decide they have to do enough to keep there son and themselves safe.

This season has been good, I didn't watch the NBC one because it felt to much like a rip-off, I agree with you about it being compelling, it does keep you interested.

Well the nbc one is totally different, and not bad at all.
The only thing is the ratings were around 5 mil and 1.1 demo so it wont get a S-2.

Even this show, on fx is below.04 or .03 . I wonder why they have not tried it on a different night
with better lead in? it has always been on wed?
