SPOILERS 

I watched it tonight and pretty good ep, have to say the root scenes stole the show for me anyway.
The last 2 scenes were great, very well done.
Now here is a thought, harold only gets the numbers in  the code , alpha one tango etc. then he figures it out, or it is just the social #.
Root on the other hand is having long detailed conversations with it, it "talks" to her !! LOL
So her and the machine are becoming close.
The Machine let her leave cause a killer was coming to kill her and I guess it thought she was reformed enough to obey on the not killing issue.
I wonder now where she goes and what the machine has her doing.
Plenty of root so I had fun watching this one.
Oh yeah show has a new boyfriend lol............Bear!

Well, this definitely was one of the most excellent PoI episodes regarding the fun factor.
There were so many awesome lines and scenes between the main characters, especially with the ladies and Shaw and Reese, that I just don't know where to start ...
Just one example:
Shaw: "Guys these days have so many... emotions. They cry, they wanna be held. I just don't know what to do with them."  

Of course also Root again was the icing on the cake:




How she shot Hersh was totally like River Tam ...



... nobody in the 'verse can stop Root and The Machine ... 

This ep had everything why I love PoI!! And I'd say it was a brilliant move to promote Amy and Sarah to regulars! I love it!

I guess, if PoI keeps up these ratings, it'll be safe?

She (root) also has a river moment, which you have to be a firefly fan to get that.

Edit I see you caught that too, I loved that. She blew the docs mind, I bet he believes her now??

By retype I mean just the relavent ratings, like for poi just the 10 pm hour.
I guess, if PoI keeps up these ratings, it'll be safe?
Well probably not what CBS was hoping for, but it should be safe The # of viewers is good, same as on thursday, or close.
The Demo is a bit low NCIS is 2.8, then NCIS LA is 2.6 our lead-in, then we are .06 drop off @ 2.0
However it is about winning the hour too, and laurens show is edging us out!!!! If we can beat them in the demo, then we win the hour outright.
Then they look at winning the night as a network .... and NBC won the night , CBS is 2nd place even though they have way more viewers.
Nbc's the voice is beating the 2 NCIS shows, and chi fire and POI are about the same, but CF added .01 to the total.
So for CBS to win the night, they have to beat the voice, and they wont.
All the other shows dropped down more than POI from previous week, POI only went down.01 CF dropped .05.
Supernatural had its best premiere ratings since 2010! 
The originals, not so good, but it also airs thursday, which I thought would be the primary slot. It is stupid to air the
show on tuesdays too lol.
I guess the main thing is keep the demo in the 2.0 range or higher.

Person Of Interest  fell a tenth from last week's 2.1 to a series low 2.0 adults 18-49 rating.
Looks like it was a mistake to change the night it aired! 
I think they thought it would grab some of the ncis la crowd, but apparently none of them are interested, we did this and better on thursday! Heck they should move them all to thursday, try to win that night lol.
Another thing is POI now comes on a hour later than before, and the different night which changes things for many viewers
to watch it live. I still think of thursday as POI night!

ok after that , let me say that POI will get all of S-3 and probably S-4, hopefully a S-5.
Castle has got by for years on similar ratings.
Blacklist on NBC is now again  winning the hour for NBC,making castle 2nd place.
Last year it was revolution.
The whole ratings game is complex , I think the show is  doing good enough to last, but keep
a eye on the silly demo.

so just looked at some I had saved , and the ratings for the show are down since the move to tue and later time slot.
the show was doing good on thursdays, so (if it aint broke , dont fix it ) old saying.
Well they fixed it!

Resse and Shaw in the row boat waching Ian Murphy on a date. The 2 arguing over who should row. Then Shaw telling about the guys that are so full of emotion. She seems to want a Reese type man.

Finche's Angels! Zoe, Carter and Shaw together to watch Ian Murphy.He has a portfolio and many women. Real Casenova. Fusco watched from the balcony. He is the Bosley. Reese was outside Blur, and not much in this part. Even Fusco followed Murphy following Carter down the street. Then she runs into Reese. Shaws idenity on the Angler profile said she was a Yoga Instructor, funny.
Nice date and in Police station he kissed her cheek. It was a little awkward for her we see.
Shaw sniped the 2 who came to talk to Murphy on the street. Good shot! Shaw wasn't quite as sarcastic this episode. But her talk on the roof with Reese about him and Zoe and him and Carter was interesting. Is Shaw interested or?? Seemed like she was pretty close with her associate in the first episode they were in. But she didn't show to much after he was killed.

Hersh back and looking for Root. Her talk with Dr Ronald Carmichael was more enlightening. He wasn't so patronizing. Root had her phone. But she snuck ot the computer at night to fix the air. So The Machine was helping her.

Finch got the call about Root.
Ian Murphy left Finch to knock out driver Joseph to take son Alex Wyley. it was touching in the park where the 2 talked. Ian called Carter, "I just did something really stupid!" Carter comes and takes Alex home.

Root tells Dr. Carmichael exactly what will happen. Her female God told her. Glad Hersh didn't shoot Dr. Carmichael. But Finch coming to stop her, he has to call Resse because Hersh is wounded. "Finch,what's wrong?" Finch replied: Mr,. Reese, We have a problem!" Wonder what will happen now? Pennsylvania Two can't come and help. The mysterious leader will have to send a team I guess. Surprised Root stopped him. The Machine told her not to kill him. "Really, even this guy?"

Bruce Wellington using his influence to keep ian away form his son, Alex. Dana, Alex's Mother/Aunt had died. Resse face to face, finally punched him in the nose. Cool! Shaw wanted to.

Think all 6 on our side had a good amount of time on screen this week. Nice to see Zoe again. Did her show get canceled? Even Bear had some good screen time as Shaw and him are bonding. She even bought him a new colar and Dinosaur Bone as Finch sees it.
