"Nothing To Hide" - The number comes up for an Internet entrepreneur in the business of eliminating people's privacy, but finds his own being rapidly stripped away. As his life spirals out of control, Reese tries to protect him while Finch calls on Shaw, Carter and Fusco for help finding whoever is after him. Meanwhile, Carter finds herself unexpectedly paired with new rookie partner, Mike Laskey, on PERSON OF INTEREST, Tuesday, Oct. 1 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on CBS.

but no one shot at her so .....
I enjoyed this one more than the pilot, but no root at all was a bit of a bummer.
No root in the previews for next week either!.
the odd thing about this show was the guy they were trying to save did not deserve it,
and they failed, so not sure what that meant.
Carter and new rookie will be ok.

Good episode, I'm really enjoying that PoI is back!
I like how smart they deal with the actual topics of real life, that whole plot about losing privacy etc. was dead-on.
And Finch was right to do everything to prevent The Machine from being controlled by the U.S. government. They even can't control the NSA and all the other many (15????) secret agencies ... the problem is, that obviously the majority of the U.S. people simply doesn't care (like the majority in Germany too) ... don't know, where that will end in some years ...

BTW, some suspect the new rookie to be planted by HR ... don't know ... but not impossible.

that is possible, he did request to be with her.

the problem is, that obviously the majority of the U.S. people simply doesn't care............They are kept distracted by other things ..... like TV shows!!
Plus they only care about their own little world.
And really not much they can do about govt's the way things are set up.
