Yeah I too thought it was a great episode.
why Akbari and the ones in charge in Tehran don't know the true Langley bomber........could be they do and it was brody LOL I wondered that too.
so I never was sure until in the middle of Brody's conversation with Akbari that he might be still on the mission.........I thought it could go either way, and he had me convinced until he said so this is where it all started, and then bam! can you imagine actually being in his situation at that point? It would be very scary.
As a little nitpick (besides the crazyness of Saul's plan in general), how could Carrie visit Tehran that easily and move around that freely?........ shes carrie!
I thought the phone and phone call from carrie were something that could not happen, if someone saw him on a phone it is over.
Now I'm looking forward to the finale, hoping for Brody to survive somehow......me too, but I think this show is nothing without brody, so surely they realize that.

Ep 3x11 was probably the best this season so far. Very suspensefull and with some twists, so I never was sure until in the middle of Brody's conversation with Akbari that he might be still on the mission. I think he really was done and considered to find some peace in Tehran, but after he realized that the CIA just wanted to kill him, he knew he would never be safe even in Iran. So he fell back into mission mode trying to take the very slight chance to succeed with the mission and get out alive. And I think he still is really hoping for some kind of redemption to get his daughter back.
As a little nitpick (besides the crazyness of Saul's plan in general), how could Carrie visit Tehran that easily and move around that freely, I mean even with a fake identity/passport it might be a bit more risky. Also, I wonder since several eps, why Akbari and the ones in charge in Tehran don't know the true Langley bomber, so Brody simply could pretend to be him. Does only Javadi know? Was the bombing maybe based on improvised last-minute decisions of local terrorists? Did the secret (besides Javadi) die with that guy, who was killed at that motel (ep 3x08 when right after that Carrie got shot in the shoulder by Quinn)?
Now I'm looking forward to the finale, hoping for Brody to survive somehow ... but I'm afraid they will get him killed ...
