Fear The Walking Dead - Episode 1x05 "Cobalt" September 27, 2015

Ok slow ep, it was ok, but I expected them to break out people this ep, but I guess it is the final ep 6.
I was glad rueben did not kill the soldier, he was not a bad one.

not much to say about this except I think I can write better than these writers.

Do you think the soldiers killed their leader inside the place with the walkers, they came back without him and were like he's just gone lol, I wonder if he was bit or they just abandoned him. The scene with the kids drinking and playing dress up were just stupid. I think whoever survives next week will leave LA behind, it belongs to the dead now. Also, I think they will release all the walkers from the arena to help bust out the people from the jail/infirmary.

they will release all the walkers from the arena.......you might be right, why else would they show that scene pushing on the doors?

not exactly making them likable though. But I have never seen a show where they do so badly
with the characters.
Had this come out before WD it would have been canceled due to low ratings.

Right now I'm glad that S1 only has 6 eps, so it will soon be over ... ;-)
Though there is some kind of subtle tension, the stories are mostly just not interesting and the characters way too centred on the usual patchwork-troubled-family crap, especially the annoying kids. So I wasn't interested at all to see Alicia and that other guy to go on the rampage in the house of some rich family.
And now they come up with the Mexican guy's story and clichee excuse to torture the soldier more or less out of the blue.
And what did we actually see so far from the events of the development towards the zombie apocalypse? Besides some riot scenes and some rare fights with fresh zombies there was not much and suddenly almost the whole town is empty. Even the military actions obviously mostly happened off-screen, so we weren't even allowed to see the soldiers fighting in that library. Suddenly we have to accept that they were outmatched by zombies despite their heavy weapons (they already know how to kill a zombie by head-shot!). As trained soldiers they are not capable of a decent retreat? Instead they let themselves just be slaughtered by a bunch of zombies??
Also it's not convincing that all public and political structures are destroyed already to that extent, so that some isolated military unit can play God. Well, and how many Bradleys and M1 Abrams tanks are in service of the U.S. army? Take some of them and that whole arena with probably thousands of imprisoned zombies shouldn't be an unsolvable task.
Seriously, FTWD turned out to be quite disappointing.
Good to know that iZombie season 2 is not far away ... if it will be only half as entertaining as season 1 was, it will still be three times as entertaining as FTWD ... at least for me

I guess the ratings are still more than ok for AMC ... obviously many people like that show more than I do ... still surprising ...
