wow the show took a turn into serious !
Shayla was dead the whole time.

The brother was the one who got vera busted ? but it was also elliot!
So is elliot responsible for her death>>?

I wonder if he now goes after vera?

At imdb the talk is about shayla being killed, seems it had the desired effect writers would want.
I for one thought vera was out of the show, and they had this as part of the story, and evidently
he will be a antagonist for awhile.

Yea, I didn't see her being dead, that took me for a surprise. I think Elliot will take down Vera before all is said and done. How many episodes are supposed to be in this season?

I didn't see that coming ... actually I was kind of shocked and I don't like it at all. Do we really need such shock effects all the time? To be honest I would have prefered more of the Mr. Robot / Evil Corp. storyline instead of this personal revenge thing against that bad guy Vera, which is a pretty common and not very original crime plot.
I'll keep watching for now, but I have to say that the show lost quite some of its impact for me. It also gets on my nerves a bit to still have to guess, whether Mr. Robot is real at all or just a product of Elliot's weird mind ...

Only 10 eps. And they seriously want to pull this crime/revenge plot with Vera now instead of concentrating on the Mr. Robot/Evil Corp. story?? Well, well ... probably they want to save that up for season 2?

Yea, it's already been picked up for a second season so they may stretch that into the second season

Well normally I would agree with you, but this totally surprised everyone. and she was liked, so it did have a impact.
Now it depends on what they do with it, do they have a plan or did they just want to kill someone, only time will tell.
From what was said , I think vera disappears to turn up at a later date.

I doubt they resolve or move much forward on the main story, that will all continue into S-2.
many cable shows are doing this now, they dont move or conclude the story, like they cant come up with another one!

One thing I like about WD is they establish a story and then conclude it fairly quickly.
With short seasons, each season should have a story and a conclusion to that story.
