USA Network has announced they will not be airing the season finale of Mr. Robot Wednesday evening as previously scheduled following a shooting in Virginia which left two WDBJ7 journalists dead.

“The previously filmed season finale of Mr. Robot contains a graphic scene similar in nature to today’s tragic events in Virginia,” the network said in a statement. “Out of respect to the victims, their families and colleagues, and our viewers, we are postponing tonight’s episode. Our thoughts go out to all those affected during this difficult time.”

Mr. Robot’s first season finale will now air Sept. 2 at 10 p.m. ET, and USA will rerun the season’s penultimate episode in the finale’s place this Wednesday.

Twenty-four-year-old reporter Alison Parker and 27-year-old photographer Adam Ward were shot to death during a live broadcast on Wednesday morning in Moneta, Virginia. The shooter was identified as Vester Lee Flanagan, a man who worked for WDBJ under the name Bryce Williams and was fired two years ago. Sheriff Bill Overton confirmed during a press conference on Wednesday afternoon that Flanagan died of “a self-inflicted gunshot wound.”

Ok, I've just seen the finale and I think they lost me ...  
That was beyond weird. I just don't get, why they have to continue to tell the basically interesting story through the eyes and the fucked-up mind of Elliot. I mean it had at least some good until it was clear that Mr. Robot was just one version of Elliot (looking like his father) in his twisted mind (though I would have already prefered a solution with a real Mr. Robot by far). But then Elliot should have come back to some clearer state of mind, because like this it hurts the story around bringing down Evil Corp. and the financial mafia etc.
Not sure, how they can save that for me in S2 ...  
In the end they missed my pretty high expectations after the pilot rather clearly ...

Yea, I am very confused after that finale, it got rave reviews and I don't understand how.

Yes just saw ep 10, and we dont know what is real and what isnt, so it dilutes the show into ho hum.
Not bad for a summer show, nothing much on in summer.

would have been better had they made it a serious hacker show, with no insanity.

What did Tyrell's wife say to Elliot in Danish?

Am I the only one who think Elliot and Tyrell are the same person?



It's always a possibility, not to mention Tyrell "used to be like Elliot once" as seen at the beginning when they first meet.
He abducts him from Times Square and brings him to his office to convince him for a job, maybe he was trying to convince "himself" to leave fsociety behind and eventually fails.
What were the chances they were both at Steel Mountain at the same time?
Question is, in this case, is Tyrell actually Elliot or is Elliot actually Tyrell?
They both have a ton of mental issues.
Joanna doesn't just start speaking to him in Swedish for no good reason.

I think this gun is what James Ploufee (EVP of Technolgy - E Corp) used to shoot himself on air. We last see Tyrell at fsociety HQ, where the gun is. He executes the hack, probably backing up the data or using some encryption key that only he knows to encrypt the data and then goes to James Ploufee, gives him the gun and convince him to use it. So guess who is the new EVP and who saves the day, decrypting the data in the next season.
