PostSubject: The 100 Season 3 news   The 100 Season 3 news Icon_minitimeFri Jul 10, 2015 3:42 pm

In the wake of Clarke annihilating nearly everyone in Mt. Weather and then basically abandoning her people, The 100 will kick off season 3 with a time jump.

“We are going to have our first time jump between seasons,” Jason Rothenberg told fans at Comic-Con on Friday. “We’re going to pick things up a couple months after Clarke bailed on her people.”

In the season finale, Clarke was forced to kill men, women and children inside Mt. Weather in a bid to save her people—and even then, the Grounders abandoned them in a cutthroat deal with the Mountain Men to get their own people back. Who needs Grounder blood infusions when the Sky People’s bone marrow is like gold?

But the sacrifices she made, including mercy killing Finn (Thomas McDonnell), grew to be too much to handle, so Clarke bid farewell to her people and walked off into the woods. “What she did at the end of the season was so huge and traumatic,” Taylor said. “She’s running away, which is very un-Clarke-like. When we pick things up, I think she’s going to be losing it a little… She’s not dealing with it particularly well.”

In her absence, Bellamy (Bob Morley) will be “forced to step up in that position to look after the 44 on his own,” Morley says. “Clarke left him there to do that, so I assume he’ll do what Clarke wouldn’t do and become the leader.” This, of course, puts a damper on any potential Clarke and Bellamy romance for the time being. “They were a good team, but romantically not so much,” Morley said. “Clarke gave Bellamy the confidence to make decisions and to trust him. He doesn’t trust himself to be able to do that without her.”

“I don’t think I’m thinking about anyone at this point,” Taylor added. And that includes Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey), who will return in the third season. “When they come together for the first time, there will be fireworks in a way we’ve never seen before because Clarke is pissed,” Rothenberg said, adding that the show will be diving deeper into the Grounder world and mythology next season. “There’s a lot of bad blood on certain levels, but when we come back, the war is not on and the tension has been released slightly, but that won’t last for very long.”

Speaking of, Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) faces an uphill battle in returning to Camp Jaha after being abandoned by the Grounders. “Octavia hasn’t really fit in anywhere growing up under the floor,” Avgeropoulos said. “Through Lincoln [Ricky Whittle], she really found her place within the world with the Grounders and they really brought out the warrior in her. I think she’ll have a hard time going back to [Camp Jaha] and have some resentment toward them.”

But she won’t be the only angsty 100 in Camp Jaha. Not only is everyone dealing with a level of PTSD, but Raven (Lindsey Morgan) is actually “worse off” in the new season. “Emotionally, she’s really living her life without Finn and living with that grief. There’s someone new in her life and that’s a whole new obstacle for her. You’re going to see a whole new Raven. She’s changed and she’s trying to rebuild herself piece by piece.”

Elsewhere on earth, the new storyline with Jaha (Isaiah Washington) discovering the mansion and the mysterious A.I,. who appears to have nefarious goals, will play a big role in the third season. “The [A.I.] story really sets us in a new much more science fiction direction,” Rothenberg said. “We started the show as a real hardcore sci-fi show in space. Obviously we lost that and I really missed that. This lets us get back to the hardcore sci-fi.”

The 100 is slated to return midseason on The CW.

Thanx for this, ez , good review of S-3.
the mansion and the mysterious A.I, is probably the main reason I keep watching.
The rest is just convoluted.

Like her going off in woods to live by herself, I am watching a show called "alone" which shows just how hard it is to do that, making a fire , safe water, shelter, food, animals, etc.
Very hard to do with tools and some supplies, but she just walks off with nothing lol.
She might have a knife? some water?

Well it said her and lexa meet with fireworks, so do they kiss lol or fight ? or both , fight then kiss and makeup.
I am more interested in seeing lexa in the WD spin off.
They wanted her back , but with the other show, she probably will have limited time in a few shows.

The AI is more interesting than the girls or grounders etc.
lol the sky people are now grounders arent they ??????
The mtn people are just high grounders.

The CW Announces Midseason Schedule and Premiere Dates

PRESS RELEASE TEXT
THE CW NETWORK ANNOUNCES JANUARY PREMIERES AND SCHEDULING MOVES

The Series Premiere of DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW and the Return of the Critically-Acclaimed THE 100 debut on Thursday, January 21
...
November 23, 2015 (Burbank, CA) - The CW announced its new January 2016 schedule today, including the series debut of new drama DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW and the season three premiere of THE 100, plus THE VAMPIRE DIARIES and THE ORIGINALS take over Friday night.

On Thursday January 21, The CW kicks off a new night of action and adventure with the highly-anticipated series premiere of DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT) followed by the return of the critically-acclaimed post-apocalyptic drama THE 100 (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT). In DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW, when heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat — one in which not only the planet is at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?
DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW stars Victor Garber (“The Flash,” “Alias”), Brandon Routh (“Arrow,” “Superman Returns”), Arthur Darvill (“Doctor Who”), Caity Lotz (“Arrow”), Ciara Renee (“Pippin”), and Franz Drameh (“Edge of Tomorrow”), with Dominic Purcell (“The Flash,” “Prison Break”) and Wentworth Miller (“The Flash,” “Prison Break”). Based on the characters from DC Comics, DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Greg Berlanti (“Arrow,” “The Flash,” “Supergirl”), Marc Guggenheim (“Arrow,” “Eli Stone,” “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters”), Andrew Kreisberg (“Arrow,” “The Flash,” “Eli Stone,” “Warehouse 13”), Phil Klemmer (“The Tomorrow People,” “Chuck”), Chris Fedak (“Forever,” “Chuck”), and Sarah Schechter (“Arrow,” “The Flash”).

For two seasons, the refugees of THE 100 sent to Earth have been at war. First with themselves, then with the Grounders, and finally with Mount Weather. Many have lost their lives along the way. All have lost their innocence. They have learned the hard way that in the fight for survival, there are no heroes and no villains. There is only the living and the dead. But now the war is over. The battle against Mount Weather has been won. The prisoners have returned home to a world seemingly at peace, but can they find peace within themselves after what they had to do to escape? And is there more to life than just surviving? Unfortunately, their newfound sense of normalcy will be short-lived, and their lives will be changed forever, as threats both old and new test their loyalties, push them past their limits, and make them question what it truly means to be human. First, they fought to survive. Then, they fought for their friends. Now, they will fight for the human race. Based on the book series by Kass Morgan, THE 100 is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Alloy Entertainment, Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios, with executive producers Jason Rothenberg and Leslie Morgenstein (“The Vampire Diaries”).

Starting January 29, The Salvatore brothers and the First Family of vampires head to Friday nights to kick off the weekend with two hours of high-stakes drama, with THE VAMPIRE DIARIES (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT) followed by THE ORIGINALS (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT). This season, both THE VAMPIRE DIARIES and THE ORIGINALS are among the most heavily time-shifted series on television; both shows more than triple their audiences when viewing beyond the night of air is tallied, across DVR, digital, and VOD platforms.

REIGN will have its winter finale on Friday, January 22 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT) and return later in the season, night and time to be announced.

Following are The CW’s January 2016 premieres and scheduling moves:

THURSDAY, JANUARY 21

8:00-9:00pm DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW (Series Premiere)

9:00-10:00pm THE 100 (Season Premiere)

FRIDAY, JANUARY 29

8:00-9:00pm THE VAMPIRE DIARIES (New Night)

9:00-10:00pm THE ORIGINALS (New Night)

All Times ET/PT
Legends of Tomorrow and The 100, a good combination for a TV night!
