The Walking Dead Episode 5x09 "What Happened and What’s Going On" February 08, 2015

wow this was a horrible ep, makes me want to drop the show again !lol
last show they kill off beth in a stupid way and in this one they kill this guy off in also a stupid way.

By stupid, he was clearing the house, and stopped and stared at the pictures, and lets a zombie sneak up on him, they always make noice, but this one was quiet as a ninja and bit like a pit bull.
Just seemed unrealistic.

That is the formula for this show, introduce them keep them around for awhile and then kill them off.

Plus, he saw the feet of one under a door and didn't finish clearing the room?

After I had finished watching ep 5x09, I just was asking "What was this meant to be???"
I guess this was the worst ep ever of TWD, a total filler one. Are they running out of good plots? Or do they think, an ep is only interesting if another one of the "older" character dies? But not like this. I agree, Tyreese's death (how he was bitten) was even more stupid than Beth's. And all his hallucinations of gone characters and the weird scene cuttings and light effects were meant to be especially elaborate? For me it just didn't work.
It didn't make things better, that Tyreese's character actually wasn't enough developed to make me really care for him, though I somehow liked him. Last but not least that poor attempt to bring some depth to his character by those talk about his father and his listening to the radio, when he was a child, didn't work either.
One thing though I remember positively, not that it actually saves the episode in any way, but nevertheless ... Rick confirmed that he knew that Dawn shot Beth accidently, but he just wanted to kill her out of rage.

Yea, I really like Tyreese, mainly because his comic counterpart is much cooler and was introduced early in the series. But, this has to be one of my least favorite episodes. While I thought it was coo to see the dead characters, it didn't click with me either. I am hoping that the next few episodes really pick up, I think this has been a really slow season.

Exactly, and was that the one that got him?
The thing is these regulars are all experienced "soldiers" and if they are going to kill one off it has to be better written than
that was.
The past victims kept saying " it is better now" and "it is the way it was meant to be" like he was destined to dies at that time
and he would go to WD heaven and be with the past victims.

I also thought it was poorly timed , the very ep after beth was killed in a stupid  and bizarre manner.

I am not a writer but I could come up with much better and more feasible and more dramatic ways for these last 2 to die.

The other thing is it is like they are trying to save $ on cast, even though this show has to make more $ than any other show on tv with the 8.0 demo.
With 5 years up and actors maybe getting better contracts? they might just kill rick and or  other Originals off soon.

I seriously doubt they would kill Rick, it's his story. The show began with him waking up, but I think anyone else is fair game.
