Ok, I admit, I didn't like the ending of ep 1x04 either ... Dorian seducing Ethan ... WTF should this be good for??
I hope this was only a one-time thing made up by this weird Dorian character. So far I don't have a clue, what species he might belong to ... vampire, werewolf or whatever else.
But I really like to see Eva Green and Timothy playing. That's a big plus for me, so I definitely won't quit. Also in the next ep 1x05 finally we'll learn about Vanessa's, Mina's and Sir Malcom's past and their dark connection. Already in ep 1x04 there was quite some tension between Vanessa and Malcom, so I'm curious about that.
BTW, Penny Dreadful has only 8 eps in season 1, so you might reconsider to drop it. Ep 1x05 should be interesting and then there will be only 3 left ...

the thing is they just ruined the cowboy character for me, killed off the 1st frank as I was starting to like him, and eva's role is all over the place, I liked her in ep 1, but every ep she is different!
I dont care for the ugly main vamp bad thing, and he just keeps running away so not too bad ass LOL.
Dorian dont care for him, dr frank is not likable to me.
So really there is not much for me to care about.
Only 8 eps and they did not do much with the first 4 ! so I doubt much of significance happens in the final 4.
Vanessa= eva?
malcom = main guy minas dad?
mina we dont know so hard to care about her.
If I was doing this show I would have started further back, before mina was taken.
And no gay crap !! lol

I do like eva, but being english, she may never be in anything I can enjoy watching.
I liked her in camelot but the show wasnt bad but not really good either, and it went bye bye.

OT I dropped the salem show too as it was too gross with violence and gore and witchy stuff, and just sort of boring to me, so it will probably be a big hit.
