EP 1 AND 2
Ok So far S-2 is a little more realistic, still heavy on the sex, we have a new superwoman added, the indian girl Nola.
Who does she have sex with ??? well not hard to guess that is it?
She cant fly but anything else is possible.
So at least ana goes to a mini prison, and her family disowns her.... why because she lied!!! That what happens when you lie, your family disowns you and you go to prison!

2nd day in prison ana meets a nice lady and they have a encounter of the fight kind.

Job is the only sensible one, he keeps saying lets leave now!
But then there  would not be a show, sorry job they have to stay in banshee, as it is the name of the show.

Also we have the indian wars, pale face Kai vs  Alex dumb mule, who is now the chief in name , but still a bozo.
Also In this show they act like the chiefs son automatically gets to be the new chief, but that isnt how it worked.
A new chief would always be selected, unless someone took it by force and killed the other chief.

Right now they are playing war games, and I am bored with that.

Also the sherrif and ana and job rob the indian  armored truck, but super nola shows up so they only get 1 bag of $

other than that  hood is trying to act more like a real sherrif.
But still fun to watch.

Very violent again of course, but pretty exciting also. Can't wait for the next ep ...   
And hey, I think you asked in the Banshee season 1 thread, what character of the show is there even likeable?
Well, there alway was one for me, that female cop Siobhan ... but now that she also threw herself at Hood ... I don't know ...  
And I'm not getting why every women of this show has to be madly hot for Hood ... it's getting ridiculous now ...

I make fun of the show, but I keep watching it.
one thing was I had all 10 which is always a good thing, if there is anything good about the show, which there must be, cause i kept watching and I think it is the wanting to see what happens, they keep things moving a a good pace.

Ep 2x04 was a rather rough one, even for the standards of Banshee. The murders and the torture were borderline, but I have to admit that this show is pretty exciting and I can't wait for the next ep.
I'm glad that they didn't kill Siobhan, besides Job and the old barkeeper she's kind of my favorite character in this show.
I'm also curious, what they plan for Nola. She's kind of a psycho too and now that she's sent away by her brother (the Indian chief), she obviously is a loose cannon with her own agenda ...

Yeah the indian girl is sort of psycho, and with no background she is sort of comical.
She is like a super hero only not a hero, just thrown into the show.

The black girl is new, so how long before she has sex with hood?? LOL
the show is entertaining, and all of Hoods team are sort of likable, hood is starting to like being a sheriff and take it seriously, he seems to be changing, which would be a good thing.
For example he looked at the dead girl a long time like it really bothered him.

Why would someone kill the girl with a hammer??

The indians were and are on the warpath now? LOL
funny how the casinos make tons of money yet the people are still dirt poor? something wrong there huh?

I make fun of the show , but they keep it entertaining.
Now hoods son shows up , but he is being sent away with new id so that seems too quick, something else will happen??

oh yeah and we have the super powered big ass indian LOL !!!
I guess the indians figure in big this season, we have a bad ass female and male indian, plus the mickey mouse chief.
And the indians still going on about the white man taking their land blah blah.

Ok just saw 205, pretty good ep, the bi guy was really hard ot look at for 1/2 the show, but other than that it was ok.
Corny at the end with nola using a tomahawk ! LOL and nobody in the jail LOL even in the old westerns
they had 1 guy asleep in a chair or something.  
But again still fun to watch.
super indian breaks out, I saw that coming, even the kicking the screen thing.
they should have put him in the trunk, or maybe in a trailer and tow the trailer??

turns out the big indian guy is a werewolf in teen wolf right now too.

Ok, ep 2x05 was pretty different and kind of strange for Banshee (no sex and less violence ... well at least compared to the usual amount).
But somehow I liked it. They showed what could have been for Carrie and Hood if their plans had succeeded. But to kill agent Racine after only two episodes was stupid. He was a convincing and extremely well played character by Zeljko Ivanek (also great in Damages and Revolution, but he seems to be booked on brutal and tragic deaths) and now he's already gone ... what a waste ... :-(

Ok saw 205 and it was a offbeat one. would have been surprised at the guy getting killed but read here first.
They did kill him off quick.

This one was better , new bad guys, another fight, looks like the kid gets away ok, but he wanted some action with the wrong girl! sugar warned him?

Now the thing is what is up with proctor and his niece??
And he didnt have to kill the kid.
The guy is a cleaner! reminded me of Nikita, cleans the room up and misses the watch.
So now hood will find out and what happens then?
then they reveal the diamonds were just glass ! lol
pretty good ep overall setting up some interesting stuff.

Procter is a sick and disgusting criminal. Kill Jason because he slept with his niece?? So that his also disgusting sick "cleaner" has something to play ...
That was really kind of disgusting. Besides this the usual brutal and bloody stuff.

The more I liked episode 2x07. Hood now is going after Proctor. That's good and will probably make some exciting episodes - only three left!! - until the season 2 finale.

Banshee Episode 2.08 - Evil for Evil

The good writing part was hood looking for and finding the money, even without the watch he would have know something happened like him getting killed.

At times they make proctor likable, and he has been the sort of villain you could like , but now all of a sudden they make him a pervert and a senseless killer.
So now they have to kill him off soon,or I will stop watching.
The writing in this show is erratic, at times very good, and then very bad.

Like the dad getting drunk and spend all his free time getting lap dances is just stupid.
That is over the top.
So only 3 left, well anyway I like S-2 better than S-1.
this show runner is a pervert himself I think so he likes all this brutality sex and perversion, so this show will always have that aspect.

Uh ... ep 2x08 was partly hard to stand ... seeing Emmett's pregnant wife getting beaten and kicked in the womb ... I have to admit ... I totally could understand Emmett, despite I know that legally it was wrong to take vengeance into his own hands.
And Rebecca more and more turns out as a evil bitch too. Now she's the one who revealed Juliet's name as Hood's informant ... and we all know what it means when Procter tells his psycho lackey to "take care of the girl" ...  

Banshee Episode 2.09 - Homecoming

Well no matter what the police cannot mete out punishment or you would have chaos and a lot of people hurt who did nothing.

For example they guy he beat the worst was not the one who kicked her in the stomach.
the other guy fat one, actually did nothing yet was also beaten.

This show has a strong theme on revenge, and revenge is usually costly or does not turn out as planned.

I wonder about proctor and his niece, why would he care about her having sex with others, and then not have sex with her himself??
He seems to just want to keep her caged.
I was surprised when she said juliet, but really when hood went back to see J that was so stupid ! 
 good grief call and meet her in a alley or dark room , dont go to her front door in a police car  

And proctor does not know why hood cares about the kid he casually had killed. and I guess hood cannot tell him.
Seems the female cop is not liking how hood operates cheating  with the warrant, which I think that gets overturned.
 a ok ep, sort of predictable though.
The americans  is a top notch show, so I watch that and then the others start to seem lame.
Justifued is similar to this show, but is much better written.

The most important thing for me was that Job survived! And he did!

Ok, so I've seen ep 2x10, the S2 finale.
To be honest, I'm disappointed somehow. They spent a lot of time for flashbacks to the background of the diamond robbery, but there actually wasn't much real new information. Most of it could already be known by conclusion from the so far revealed infos.
Then the firefight in the church was totally ridiculous (yeah, I know, it's Banshee, but seriously?) and it was absolutely clear that Job would show up in time and save the day. I'm glad that the Rabbit crap is wrapped up finally. The time spent on this story arc was kind of wasted during the whole season 2 only to have Rabbit shoot himself on a bench??
Well, and Rebecca suddenly goes crazy and kills Longshadow to impress her uncle?? Also do we really need this whatever weird development of the "relationship" with her uncle? I don't ...
Having Emmet and his wife killed was probably the setup for season 3. Chasing after the right wing extremists will be the second story arc besides bringing Procter down and besides Procter's conflict with the Indian tribe.
Speaking of S3, I for sure hope, that Job won't stay in New York. He and Sugar are the characters I like most in Banshee, so for me they are essential for an enjoyable S3. Just like Siobhan, who definitely should get much more screen time.
BTW, is it only me, or is Trieste Kelly Dunn the hell of a beautiful woman ...





Now we have to wait a long time before S3 will start. I guess this won't happen before January 2015 ...

Well I sort of liked the finale, I had no idea job would show up, so when hood goes out with the knife, which was a joke, I was thinking is this the series finale??
The gunfight, was over the top, I thought of Nikita during that.  

The guy who is showrunner, did true blood, and he throws everything in cussing nudity sex ( all kinds)
perversions , racism, violence, romance, you know whatever there is he throws it all in.
True Blood was popular, but I quit that after S-1.

This show is crazy, but there is enough to keep me watching. Some things I dont like, some I do.

Now Sugar is cool, and they have used him about right.
Job, I like the character, but at first he was too foul mouthed, and I dont care for the cross dressing stuff, if he was just a guy I would like him more.

Hood, at first was too violent and sort of dumb and spontaneous , but they have mellowed him out
and I like him more now.
His EX and family I dont care for much, although at end the girl comes in a calls him dad, so that will be part of S-3 and that is ok.

The Rebecca thing, I think she is the show runners whore, and he is just using her to shock and turn people on or off.
So now for part of the season they sort of tease that she wants to have sex with proctor, and he wants to with her, so will they? with the SR I bet they do.
I like Rebecca, as she is to me the prettiest girl on the show, and she is a good actress.
Her killing the indian guy was just weird , I had no clue what was going on in that whole scene!
And then she takes a picture with her cell phone and shows it to proctor and proudly says I did that for you.
So I guess they are going to make her a bad girl.
I think she killed the guy as he was working with hood, and somehow they knew? I forgot what exactly he did, but really it was stupid as proctor went to a lot of trouble to get him in his pocket, and he would do whatever proctor said , so now he has to deal with a new chief.

With another show runner , this would be a better show. all the actors are good, and the basic story is good, but this guy just likes to do outrageous stuff.

I too am glad the rabbit story is done, but really compare it to 5-0, this show in 2 10 ep seasons
wrapped up all storys or the main ones, and 5-0 gets 22 shows and is going into S-5 and has yet to wrap up any story!  
So I salute them for doing that by end of S-2.

the diamond robbery... I doubt they felt this was asa important as the sex scenes??  
but What i got was the robbery was set up to get them both busted, which does not really make much sense.
Now the diamonds how is it they turned out to be fakes?
My thought there was that it was a insurance fraud deal, where the fakes are stolen , then they collect ins. and then sell the real ones too, and they kick back $ to Rabbit for that.
But there was no way he could know that his daughter would not be caught so again it does not make sense.
And as far as hood there were other ways to deal with him.
So all that was just them making it up as they went along and there are some holes in that.

But overall I have had fun watching the show, I skip thru the sex scenes (except rebecca   ) and anything else I dont like. So I am glad you mentioned she was in this show, I only checked it out for Rebecca to begin with.

BTW, is it only me, or is Trieste Kelly Dunn the hell of a beautiful woman ... it is only you !   
really she is appealing , not really my type, but she is nice looking.
I also like that hood chose her over some bimbo type, if anyone can keep hood in line it is her.
and yeah like with all these short cable shows it is a long wait, but I dont mind the wait, it is worth it to have all the shows run together in 10-13 week periods.
usually when one ends another one is starting, like this one has ended, but continuum is starting, plus for me I have the vikings , americans, bates motel, and justified.
Teen wolf S-3 part 2 has been the worst season ever for that show. All the others have been good, but they really laid a egg with this one.

I have been looking at cable ratings, and it seems that 1.0 and 1.5 mil is a decent to good rating
for scripted shows
I did find out though that shows like banshee(cinemax) and hbo shows, and starz, any show on a strictly pay channel with no ads, they do not care about the demo, it is the # of viewers.
The new show on starz black sails , is not very good, I have seen 7 of the 8, and the rating for it was
744,000 and .01(ep 06) for usa which is pretty bad but the show was renewed for S-2 after the 2nd show!
Then they also said since it is a pay channel they also look at foreign viewing, and I guess on pay channels the show might air in other countrys at same time it airs in usa.
So is banshee airing S-2 in Germany right now?

I just got a funny thought, it would be cool to see the banshee showrunner do a reboot of TSCC on a pay cable channel with the same actors but different story, maybe use some of the same stuff, but change some things too.
Then imagine what he would do with Jameron    
I am sure he would have john or someone have sex with Cameron.
All the females on the show would do sex scenes!! LOL and john could be like hood and have sex with all except his mom.
I bet it would be the craziest terminator show ever!
