My Summary: This was a very good show, realistic in many ways , and show more what the Vikings were really like,
instead of fables.
It is a bit unusual, but compelling to watch. I enjoyed S-1  and hope they make  a S-2 !

Started to watch Vikings S1 last weekend again (first attempt ended after ep 1x01 last year).
It was quite ok, though Ragnar is written kind of too "cool".
Then there was ep 1x08 ...   I almost didn't finish it, because I was totally bored with all the nordish religion crap. I couldn't believe that they would actually waste a complete ep for that, but well they did ...   
Seriously, I was thinking of dropping the whole series ... but ok, since it's only one left in S1, I'll probably finish S1 tomorrow.
Is it worth watching S2? And are the Vikings' enemies still written that dumb like in S1 (Because that was another issue I have with S1)?

re the Vikings' enemies still written that dumb like in S1....... well no, they run into a more able english leader, who pretty much defeats them.
Is it worth watching S2?....... well it is only 10 eps, and it is mostly about king horick and his plot
to get rid of Ragnar.
He turns borg against Ragnar, then ragnar against borg, planning to us Ragnar to get rid of borg, and once that is done to then take out ragnar.
From what others say both rollo and bjorn become leaders later on, so actual history is being followed to a degree.
The religious ep was a bit of a bore.
But I enjoyed S-2, it wasnt perfect though.
