Alone S-2 discussion

Ok thought maybe EZ might be watching this.
it is a 10 ep season, about taking some ordinary and some survivalists or outdoor people
and putting them ( 10 people) on vancouver island which is up by canada, and is very wet cool climate.
lot of black bears and cougars live on the island.

So each person has to live alone, and make a camp shelter and find food, and who ever lasts
the longest gets $500,000.

It is interesting and you can learn some outdoor stuff.

In ep 01 they had 1 black guy who was ex soldier, and the bears scared him,
so he didnt even spend 1 night there, lol he tapped out and went back home
to all the comforts.

The show has 3 woment this time, and all 3 outdid that clown!

after 7 days, all 9 were still there, and one mary kate, was doing ok, and she
was cutting small firewood with a large AX and no gloves, and she missed the stick and
hit her hand, not real hard but enough to cut a 1 inch gash, so she tapped out.

In ep 3 I think got up to day 9 and they showed one guy who really knows
some cool outdoor stuff, like taking small roots of a tree, and clean them up , strip off outer
layer and you have a strong cord to use for various things.

he used some of them making another thing I thought was cool, it was a blower stick.
That is a wood tube that has big channel and at end it is funneled or tapered off to
a small opening on the end that you put down by the fire.

When you blow on the bigger end high pressure air comes out the smaller end!

he uses it to start fires or get a existing fire going again from just any embers.
He also showed how to make it with just a knife lol.

I find it more interesting than the vikings lol.

well after 56 days the last woman tapped out. ep 211

Now only 3 guys left , and all seem to be just barely hanging on.

Think 2 more eps, 1 was tonight, so maybe one of the guys will tap out in this one,
or it all happens in ep 213 which is the last one.

There was some cool stuff I learned, in ep 3 the guy shows how to make a
firestarter blowpipe, which was pretty smart.
