Next ep looks like things will get more interesting with the pirates.

These kids and 2 of the adults are just so dumb it is kinda hard to watch them !

Seems to be kinda quick for pirates, but the big holes in the other boat suggest
a 20-30 mm cannon, so maybe a gunboat.

With such a slow start, this should have been 2 hours, it is like they only have so much story,
and not enough for the 15 eps so we get a lot of filler.

Definitely not one to watch a 2nd time.

Yes, very slow episode! I would just kill all the teenagers, no time for their angst, ship up or ship out lol. The whole time Lexa was on the radio I was screaming stop giving stuff away! I know she isn't Lexa but that is who she will be until I can remember her name. I think the guy who owns the boat (Strand I think) is really interesting.

Yeah we can call her lexa, I know that name.
The thing is her mom knew she was on the radio , and even strand found out and she talked some more, lol.

So throw the kids overboard >? lol

They have a lot to learn, as someone on imdb said these people must have never seen a zombie movie!

They are about to find out other humans can be as bad or worse than the zombies.

I hope they wise lexa up, to see her as a dumb teen after 100 is kinda hard to bear.
She looks better on this show though.

Only 1 ep, but she is still as dumb and green, as in S-1 !

I bet they keep her dumb for awhile. maybe this whole season, or who knows, into S4 !

The other thing is the 100 stupidly killed her off, and now what if they kill her off in this show ?

Her character is hard to like, so she wont be popular, and they like to kill off characters so....

The 100 had to kill her off, how would they explain her disappearing for the second half of the season, with no guarantee she would be back. I loved her character, but understand why they did it.

no with writing there is always a way, I would have had her leave into the woods, like clarke,
and then you could have her come back whenever.
It would even work for guest appearance.

She could even have had the fire removed, so the current story would be unchanged.

Yea, but as the cmmdr, she has an integral part in the storyline, hard to do it without her. I will miss her charcter though, I hope she becomes cooler on Fear.

Regarding season 1 I haven't much interest left, but I have watched S02E01 now. First, indeed it's still veery slow ...
And Lexa's talk with that other whatever boat over the radio all the way was screaming "STUPID!!!!".
I was also shaking my head, when they stumbled across the destroyed boat and the zombies in the water ... Of course instead of getting out of the water as quick as lightning, they first swam towards the destroyed boat and into the zombie horde ... to discover or get what??? A log book? Because it's realistic to find it at all and that it might be perfectly written until the very end??? LOL As if the wouldn't have had other things to care about when they were attacked that way??
One thing though keeps me too kind of interested. That guy Strand (best actor and character on FTWD imho so far) and his agenda might be something to fire the lame thing up after all, hopefully soon, before I actually will drop it.
The kid pushing his mother's body into the water like that was out of the blue and not what a son would do. It was just a cheap hanger for some ongoing family fight with his father, so that the kid could slap him into his face, jeez ...

And for sure, what a lame role for "Lexa" compared to The 100 ... but money obviously can help here a lot ...
