THE FLASH BATTLES THE MIST, CAITLIN TELLS BARRY ABOUT RONNIE - As Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team at S.T.A.R. Labs work to capture Kyle Nimbus (guest star Anthony Carrigan), a.k.a. The Mist, a dangerous new meta-human with toxic gas powers, they revisit the painful night the particle accelerator exploded and killed Caitlin's (Danielle Panabaker) fiancé, Ronnie (guest star Robbie Amell). Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse Martin) decides to finally visit Henry (John Wesley Shipp) in jail after all these years, but things take a dangerous turn when Kyle shows up looking to punish Joe for arresting him years ago. Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) and Eddie (Rick Cosnett) continue to hide their relationship from Joe.

Jesse Warn directed the episode written by Alison Schapker & Grainne Godfree (#103).

I liked this episode, I liked getting some background info on the assistants, I still can't figure out Wells, but it seems like he made the Accelerator in order to turn Barry into the Flash.

So are you guys watching jane it is the best new show !!!!!!!!!!!
I figured flash would get 22 for sure, but 23 is good.
I guess it was CW's best premiere ever.
I thought the best was VD.
going to watch 3 soon, will post after I do. had to watch POI first.

My guess is he is from the future. He created flash, and wants to keep him safe .
He has a reason for that, but may be some time for a reveal on that.
His secret room and tech seems way beyond the present.
I think he probably caused the malfunction also.

Caitlin's boyfriend may be alive with powers.
I like Pannabaker/ caitlin, nice to see her get more time and a little background and some attention from barry.
Ep was good and they seem to have a plan for the show, get dad out of jail, the wells mystery, barry learning how to be a super crime fighter etc.

I don't think there is any doubt he caused the accident

The flash ratings are falling fast, big drop in viewers for ep 3 , almost a whole million!
Better level off soon.

yeah no worries there, it is good they did that before this last show.

It is still the highest rated CW show

Right now the best CW shows hover around 1.0 and 1.5 to 2 mil.
So if it drops down to that it is still a top show.

I am wondering why the drop between ep 2 and 3 ??
So far the villains are the main flaw to me, first tornado boy, army boy, and then gaseous boy. They are kinda silly with no charisma.
Evidently all villains will have been created by the same event, which I dont really like that. It makes it like the smallville kryptonite villain of the week.
They should have been showing Grodd each show, and developing a cool character, now I am afraid he will just show up committing crimes like the others.

Next week we will meet Captain Cold, who is one of the Flashes main villains, I agree about everyone being changed because of the accident, it reminds me of Smallville too

Looks still pretty good for the CW ... and for a superhero show too ... imho ... personally I'd rate The 100 higher, but well, obviously not the Nielsen viewers ...

Yeah but the 100 has a silly name, a better name might have got more of them to watch the first ep?

They dont watch the CW shows much as we know, so getting them to even try a CW show is hard, so you need a good simple name, and a good pilot to hook them.

I saw the tv previews to 100 and they were not very good, they did not convey what the show really was.
