"Grumpy Old Liv"

ADAM ROSE ("VERONICA MARS") GUEST STARS - Liv (Rose McIver) consumes the brains of a cantankerous old man to help gain insight into his death. After receiving an anonymous call on the tipster hotline, Liv and Detective Babineax (Malcolm Goodwin) stop by the residence of Byron Thistlewaite (guest star Adam Rose), to question the mysterious caller. Meanwhile, Ravi (Rahul Kohli) suspects that Major (Robert Buckley) might be experiencing a side effect of the cure, and Liv pays Blaine (David Anders) a surprise visit.

Michael Fields directed the episode written by Rob Thomas (#201).

Can't wait for this show to return ...

Saw this, was ok opener. was surprised they had her saying some racist things, in her grumpy state.
So now her bf is going to be a z hunter.
 and more on that drug, and he evidently wants to create more z's with it.

I liked the season opener. The twist at the end with Major was kind of tough. He just killed that loving family father zombie, because he was blackmailed by that Max Reger guy ...
And no, Max Reger didn't want to create zombies in the past or now. It was an accident, because someone cut the Utopium with something. And now the company want to clean up the mess by detecting and killing every last zombie (with Major forced to help). After that they want a clean start with a new improved product, which surely is meant to cause addiction like a drug, but not to produce zombies anymore.
I'm not even sure, if Blaine wants to create more zombies with the especially cut Utopium, he probably is satisfied to deal with the "normal" Utopium?
