It's a new dawn in Abuddin, and Jamal's fate - along with that of the Al-Fayeed family - remains uncertain. Recognizing the situation is ripe for turmoil, Barry encourages Rami to stay and oversee the transition. Leila cooperates with the Arab League, hoping to secure a position for herself and Ahmed in the new world order.

Well, well, if there hadn't been that last minute of the S2 finale, I might have called it a pretty good series finale. But like this ... hm ... ok, it serves as series finale as well. Leila said it ... "Let him die, it's justice." With Jamal finally dead, the way for a transition of Abbudin from a tyrant dynasty into some democracy is free and Barry might stay to support the process. Story told ...
Oh, and if Nusrat tells the true reasons why she shot Jamal, I think she will get a milder punishment.
I just don't get, what that scene with Mahmoud and his nephew (the one who already blew up Jamal's and Barry's mother, when he actually was targeting Rami on orders of Mahmoud and Jamal) was about. Did Mahmoud plan something against Leila or was it just meant to see him leaving the palace and the country. Or made he Jamal change his mind off-screen, by providing the evidence that actually Jamal's uncle ordered the gas attack without Jamal knowing? Maybe we'll never know, because what I read about a possible S3, didn't sound confident, though no official statement has been made by FX as far as I know.

Well a lot of low rated shows are getting renewed. So maybe this one will.
Otherwise this is a ok finale.

The thing I didnt like was barry is a doctor!! and he does nothing!
First thing would be to stop the bleeding !

The meeting was after the guy heard no immunity for him , so he had to try and keep jamal in
power.

I also thought the girl shooting him was a little corny, because she did not know he was going
to not step down, and would have had to be planning to shoot him as he was stepping down.

Why would she do that when she could go to england and live a good life maybe with her new
BF. It would also not be good to kill jamal since he was financing your new life in england.

But whatever, it was a good show I enjoyed watching, more than most of the shows I watch.

1) Well, after some thinking it's ok, as I said, for the series finale. With Jamal dead the way is free to have free elections and democracy ... story told, happy end ...
And as far as I remember Barry was pressing on one wound, but Jamal was bleeding from three shots at the same time, how could Jamal stop all this? But they called for more help like an ambulance, so I don't see a problem actually.
If there was a third season though, I'd like to keep Jamal around, because despite his crazyness he was one of the top actors and characters of the show for me.

2) For me it seemed not corny. After all what the Al-Fayeeds and especially Jamal had done to her, she couldn't bear the thought, that Jamal would get away with it without any punishment. She was broken finally, when she lost her child, and now she just wanted to have revenge and some form of justice. She wasn't in a state anymore to think rationally as far as I see it.

I'd like a third season definitely!

yeah the actor playing jamal made him charismatic, and likable.
I guess if they do get a S-3 chances are jamal will survive being shot.

It is a shame all these shows depend upon the neilsen ratings , where a few thousand people
dictate what shows stay on or die.

Plus many times historical or intellectual shows dont appeal to the masses, but they should still
get their run of 5 seasons. especially when it is only like 10 eps a season.
