Yeah, that was an excellent episode. I was sitting at the edge of my seat, because it was that suspenseful. Probably the best ep so far.
And I couldn't help, but I almost cheered, when Raami's and Solomon's helicopters arrived.
The strange thing is, that - of course unwillingly - actually killling Ihab's girl in the end saved Bassam and his last few men. It made Ihab acting out of personal revenge and thus bought the decisive minutes. If Ihab hadn't ordered the Caliphate troops to stop for an hour until his arrival to get personally his revenge on Khalil/Bassam, the Caliphate would have overrun and killed them long before Raami and his helicopters could have arrived. And they would again have been able to use their air defense battery, what would have made it impossible for Raami to use the helicopters and bring in Solomon's troops.
Regarding the money, wasn't that trust for Sammy about 100 millions, not only 10 millions? But I believe to remember that so far only the first 10 millions were transferred, but I'm not quite sure about that.
Like you I'm looking forward for the season finale and I really do hope they have a good story up their sleeves and will get a third season. Imho it would be well deserved. Tyrant turned out to be really worth watching and actually - though surprisingly realistic, as far as we from the distance might be able to judge at all - was something different from the usual crime and zombie stuff, which currently seems to rule TV.
