ROAD TRIP TO DESTINY - Shell-shocked from recent events, the team rallies and travels to California to stop a pair of brothers (guest stars Jamie Bamber and Riley Smith), one of whom may be the Horseman of Famine, from committing a fateful sin. Diogo Morgado, Shantel VanSanten, Craig Frank, JD Pardo, Sofia Black D'Elia, Jon Fletcher, Anna Diop and Joel Courtney star.

Tim Hunter directed the episode written by Joe Peracchio (#110).

No, it's 13 eps. But Ep 11-13 will air after a three week hiatus ... I wonder why The CW has to do this ... looks like they don't care for the small, but loyal audience any more ...

Well I just hope they air them, # 11 is shown now at epguides.

Also with where story is at, if only 10 I was thinking I would be let down.
So counting 10 4 more to go, that is better.
Networks love their hiatus's !!!!!!!!

Some exec saw that and sent out word to throw a hiatus in !

 ... and it's not only the hiatus (what instead for heaven's sake would do that better on Fridays in summer anyways????), but to make things worse, they leave us with a freaking big cliffhanger for Vera ... damn ... to wait one week would have been ok, but three??? The CW really seems to give a shit about The Messengers viewers ...

BTW, good ep again. I hope we'll get a satisfying closure with the final three eps then ...

Speaking of ratings ... just compare The Messengers (on Friday!) with Beauty and the Beast (on Thursday) ...

I may sound ridiculous at first sight, but on second thought it doesn't.
Just imagine, how the suits at The CW would look like, if The Messengers with a premiere on Friday and without a good lead-in now actually would pull a 0.3 or even 0.4 demo and more than a million viewers in total ... they won't let that happen. So the three week hiatus probably will be the perfect nail in the coffin to secure the ratings failure and avoid any doubts about their decision to get rid of the show from the very beginning ...

YOU KNOW I did not pay attention to what they aired in that spot !
Normally I do a SC of M-F but with nothing on network tv I only did mondays when whispers comes on
abc.
Online tv guides dont show days gone past so I dont know what they aired, I am curious though.
I was fairly serious when I said the hiatus might have been due to a rise in ratings lol.

Imagine being a actor on the show or the show runner lol, and CW is overtly trying to kill the show!
