| That was a really good episode, Oliver as the villain this week was a twist. I would have been mad if he had killed Nyssa though. A couple of big twists to end the episode, Nyssa has to marry Oliver and he has to kill Starling City, which we know he won't do the latter, I figure he becomes Oliver again by the end of the next episode, and the finale will be Team Arrow vs Ra's and the League. | |

Yeah, it was pretty good. I especially liked the story and scenes around Nyssa. Like you I would have hated to see her die and I was pretty afraid of it, because they made some of that stupid moves in the past (Sara, Shado). I was wondering the whole ep, why they were accusing Nyssa of betraying Ra's (she just left Nanda Parbat, was that death-worthy???), and it looked like Ra's wanted her dead only to eliminate a possible rival to Oliver as his new heir. But in the end all made sense, she stole the virus to prevent Ra's and Olli using it on Starling City, that was the big betrayal. I didn't see coming the wedding for Ollie and Nyssa though. Would be fun, if they actually marry and Ollie has to take her back to Starling City as his wife ... wait ... is Felicity crying forever then? Please noooo ... Now to the aspects I didn't like. As I already said, Olliver as "Heir to the Demon" still doesn't work convincingly for me. Now they pull the lame brainwashing thing to have him act as a League villain and finally the new Ra's has to wipe out a whole city simply to finish the transition, not even pretending to do so for some bullshit greater good??? Jeez, that's so over the top and turns that whole "LoA" concept almost into ridiculous crap. But ok, with this stupid orders (actually given by the showrunners ) Ra's just has to make sure that Al Sah-him turns back into Olli ...

| Yea, I think destroying Starling will be where he draws the line, and returns as Arrow | |

You are right. This ep 3x21 the intro was changed to "My name was Oliver Queen ...", which made sense, because he became Al Sah-him now. The title of the season 3 finale (3x23) is ... guess what ... "My name is Oliver Queen". So Ra's will fail in transforming Ollie, no big surprise though ... The thing is, with a little bit more cleverness how to to handle human beings and a little less of dumb overkill violence Ra's easily could have succeeded. Instead he makes one stubborn move after the other, so that without any doubt in the end Ollie will finally turn against him ...
