Reese and Fusco get caught in the war between the two newest POIs, rival crime bosses Elias (Enrico Colantoni) and Dominic (Winston Duke). Also, a tantalizing clue to Shaw's whereabouts leads Finch and Root into a possible trap, and Control (Camryn Manheim)
goes rogue to uncover the true intentions of the Samaritan program, on PERSON OF INTEREST, Tuesday, April 28 (10:01-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on CBS.

The synopsis of ep 4x21 sounds exciting, but ...
wtf ... the ep airs only an April 28th, so there's the next hiatus ... damn, CBS really likes to kill all the momentum ... I think this crappy scheduling must hurt the show's ratings ... It feels like there always has been a break after every one or two eps for the last months ... arghhh ...

ok so no show aired on 21st lol, I am used to it, as i did not really miss it this last week.

The last show was filler, and really we havent got any progression in the machine story this season, and that was what I was most interested in!!!!!!!!!!!

I liked the one girl who joined greer, and only got her in one more ep , which was good , but not enough.

I am really disappointed with the season 4 as a whole.

The dominic story should have covered 4 ep arc and been done, instead it is here and there over whole season, and now I
dont really care, so this next ep is ho hum, is this a wrap up or just another ep of crooks and no machines !

We have got some Samaritan stuff, but it is so here and there that it is hard to make sense of it.
I am a big fan , watch every show, so just imagine nielsen people who miss some eps, and also ones who mainly were interested in the machine aspect, and every week it does not move the story at all.

Root and finch looking for shaw may be good, so there is that.

And the finale we get some machine story, but it cant be much.

I will say this one might be good due to denise the writing it.

Well the show surprised me tonight, it was actually pretty good!
Was a cliffhanger !
The machine apparently sacrificed itself or its location to save root and harold.
Hopefully it has a plan lol.

Samen was shown, and seemed like she was or has been brain washed or altered.

Dominic was tricked into killing his friend.
but really waiting 2 weeks for next ep is stupid.
I am tempted to wait until I have the last 2 to watch them.

And I got a little bit of machine story so that was good.

Also root kills martine so that was a plus.

Ep 4x21 was just awesome!
The interaction between Samaritan and The Machine clearly showed the difference. The Machine was taught by Harold and developped something almost like a conscience. Not having been able to save Shaw, The Machine now is determined to save Root and Finch, even if that might cost its existence by giving up its location? I still have my doubts, because considering that the Machine knows what Samaritan is up to (pretty drastically told by that female agent to Control), it's simply not an option to risk Samaritan's victory just to rescue Harold and Root for now. I think The Machine must have a plan and just bought some time hoping Team Machine would still have a slight chance to stop Samaritan from destroying The Machine.
Oh, and that was cruel by Elias ... how he tricked Dominic into killing his right hand (and friend) Link. Link should have listened what Scarface told him once before he got blown up to save his friend Elias.
Shaw obviously was kind of brainwashed and her call to Root was a trap, as already expected by Root and Finch. I read that the showrunners already have a fine story in mind to bring Shaw back, they just have to wait until Sarah Shahi is ready for it after some mother time with her newly born twins.
Didn't know how actually bad-ass Root is in close combat ... how she snapped Martine's neck within the blink of an eye ...
Now I can't wait for the season 4 finale ... PoI again seems to manage to pull off another fantastic one!
I just would like to hear soon about an official season 5 renewal ...

Well, good news, as an exception from the bad rule, this time the next ep 4x22 (S4 finale) will air without a break just next week on May 05 ...

Well, I'm not at all. The first part of the season was fine as always, escpecially up to around the fantastic "If-Then-Else" eps. Lately there may have been some more "case of the week" centred eps, but I think this might have to do with Sarah Shahi's pregnancy-related break, so that they had to adjust the storylines a bit. I honestly never got bored a second though and having seen the awesome ep 4x21, I'm pretty sure we'll get another hell of a season finale next week.
PoI still is one of the best, if not the best show on air right now. Couldn't name one which I would consider better ... There are a few which might come close or match quality-wise, like Continuum, 12 Monkeys, The 100, and some are extremely well entertaining, but without that depth, like The Flash ... but a better one? ... Nope!

well I just wanted more about the machines, elias and dominic were not what I watch for.
I wanted a machine centric season.
It is still a god show and one of my favs , but past seasons were better.

I liked Roots fight with Martine. Root snapped Martine's neck pretty easily. But she threatened Harold. So Greer wanted her ear implant. And like Finch said he discarded Martine pretty easily. But Greer told Harold that they all were expendable. Root follows Greer a couple seasons ago, she he knows some about her.
When Root brought Finch into the facility it was funny she told the Dr. the truth but no one understood. Hopefully Samaritan or Greer didn't catch all of Roots references to the truth.
Sameens call to Root made me suspicious. But then she is removed from insane building before the team arrives. But the Team Machine having to un-brain wash her maybe a good thing.

Control took control and Shelly went from sniveling wife/teacher to smart A** bit** pretty quick. But did she think Control would let her go? Look at Tyler! Who's body was put in her Dodge Mini van? I liked that Control said some friends tried to steer her right or how ever she said it. The correction begins May 6.
Elias telling Donimic that his right hand man Link was the mole made me think he might be wrong. Then Elias telling he made a mistake. I laughed but then thought it was lucky Dominic didn't shoot Elias. I liked that during the water-boarding that Fusco asked for a loofah. Reese wasn't yet back to the top of his game with his injury from the previous shooting. It would some how be nice to get Brotherhood on the case of Decima. So Greer and team have to worry about them. Maybe Harper Rose is not a The Machine agent? I was surprised that NYPD didn't come and raid the old bank.

The AI talk was good too. TM saying, "You are not interchangeable. I failed to save Sameen!" and saying, "Release Them". Then they do
