I dont see how ? has time to be with martha and kimberly, and paige, and liz and his fbi friend.

This is the best show for me right now, always interesting and compelling.

I have enjoyed this season as well, I don't know how he balances his time, I would lose track of who I was supposed to be lol

I agree, The Americans is a fine piece of a TV show. It's very intense and even when slower paced, never boring at all.
I especially love the historical aspect. The beginning of the 80s was the time when I as a young teenager started to get interested in newspapers, news magazines and politics.
The war in Afghanistan of course played an important role then. And it's dead on, when they show in the series, how the CIA was then breeding the terrorists who later turned on their "masters" in never expected ways. Obviously no one could or wanted to see the future dangers, as long as it hurt the Russians on the short run ...

BTW, sadly the ratings seem to get more and more terrible ... I just don't get it ...

Or some newbies tried ep 1 and did not come back.
50% drop off after ep 1.

I think maybe the show only appeals to intellectuals. and not many of those monitored by neilsen.
