you guys seen this?
@ Tscc , I checked this out after you said Robin beat out Tat for the GG award, and saw it had kevin spacey , so decided to check it out.
I got the first season, I am at ep 6 of 13 now.
The show is good, I like kevin and kate mara is hot as the reporter.
It shows a realistic version of how american politics work.

Now if RObin won the GG award based on S-1 , it is really weird.
He role is bland and robotic, she has no personality, is cold and kinda cruel.
It requires pretty much 0 acting skills do play this role.
I cant even figure why anyone would like her character.

after ep 3 I just started FF thru her scenes as her sub story is just really boring.
The show would be much better without her, and if kevin her husband was just single.

I am stunned she could win a award for this role.

But I am enjoying the show, it is much more than just poiltics.
Spacey plays a long time congressman who was promised the secretary of state job if the president he was helping got elected. the guy won the election, and right away he told .... he had is secretary tell kevin that he was not getting the job.
and that they loved his help getting elected, but he was more valuable to them in congress.

So mad but smart he goes along with it and makes a plan for revenge . this all in the first show.
so he is slowly doing things without them suspecting what he is doing.

Wow in ep 10 I think they made a huge writing blunder!
Ruins one of the main characters.
Was enjoying the show, but now not sure if it will be the same going forward.

The show is a netflix show I forgot to say that.
Into S-2 now, they killed off my fav character, but the show is still interesting and well done, and one sub story I still find interesting.

Sorry, but before I'll start to try a whole new series with already 2 complete seasons, I think I'd rather catch up with Castle, 24 or Hell on Wheels. I also plan a re-watch of Continuum, because it's an absolutely rich and intense show for me, with dead-on questions about political developments and a fascinating story ...
But I'll keep in mind maybe for the long nights of next winter ...

Well I recommend S-1 highly, just 13 shows. The show is unique, with some good writing and acting.
and then also the first ep of S-2.

I still dont see why robin got a GG award for her role, as it is bland , robotic, and mostly the only boring character, and everyone on the show out acts her.
Not saying she cant act , she does the role as she is directed etc. But that is a mystery.

Just finished S-2 and it was well done, had a impressive ending.
A couple of things happened that make me wonder where that part will go in S-3.
Will for sure watch S-3
