Slade shows up at Moira's residence!! A cool twist how they reveal Sin's origin, very surprising!
And other than you, T5000, I actually enjoy Sara being around as Black Canary. Maybe she could train and take care of Felicity a bit.
And the best Felicity scenes since many episodes! Emily can actually act. She was very convincing expressing her disappointment about her kind of being left out or being beaten by the "clock king". Very nice to watch her in this episode.
I definitely will watch this ep again on weekend!
So I think lately you might have been too harsh with Arrow, despite I still share with you two issues, Shado's death and turning Slade into a evil psycho,

other elements of the show are still excellent ... don't you think too?..... Most of the cast I like and I see where it could be good, but it just is lacking certain things. And they focus too much on things that maybe should not even be there.
Felicity was good in this ep, I liked slade showing up at the end, and finally laurel gets her act together, so that eliminates
a lot of drama which falls into the category of should never have happened. All the laurel stuff, that time could have been used for something better.
one thing that I tire of are the lame stereotypical villains. the best one was the huntress, and then the dark arrow guy.
this ep Robert knepper was mr "time"? lol and it was a silly character.
It was a one episode villain which is hard to make that good so why have one ep villains?
They have 14 eps of laurel whining and getting high, but cant do a 3 ep villain.
1 villain per ep is a recipe for mediocrity.
Look at breaking bad, gustave was the villain for 2 seasons, 26 episodes, and he was great because we got to know him.
Now imagine him as a 1 ep bad guy who is introduced does his thing & gets killed or sent to jail all in the one ep!
He would not have been any good like that.
They try to do too much in the show, with too many characters, so none of them get to really shine.
I thought the island part of the show was about wrapped up, but no telling how long that will go on.
If the same people who ran and wrote breaking bad did this show it would be totally different. and probably much better.
It is still a ok show.
To me caty is sort of like steves mom was on 5-0, they were not needed and are a distraction from what the show was before they entered.
In S-1 there was no caty, and we had the 3 person team arrow, now it is 4 person team and caty is the top one with more or the same time as arrow. which I might add takes away screen time from felicity and diggle.
Had she not been brought in those two would have had a lot more screen time.
I dont dislike caty, she would have been ok as a 2-3 ep guest star, but not as sarah.
sarah was dead and should have stayed dead, same for steves mom.
Also I dont care for the black canary character.
I dont see the story going anywhere in S-2 , it just seems to be random action and drama most of which has been boring.
Let me ask you this, do you think the ollie /mom fight /tension is needed ?, all the laurel drug and drink stuff??
That is all wasted screen time and quite boring.
Was the villain mr time captivating or even interesting? Im doing it for her! and then felicity electrocutes him by doing what to his cell phone? They get (many shows) carried away with the hacking and zapping. there is no way to send that kind of voltage thru the air to a cell phone.
So in closing some parts I like, but some parts irritate or bore me.
Also arrow should use more trick arrows like the bolo one tonight.
