BARRY ALLEN COMES TO STARLING CITY - A seemingly impossible robbery at Queen Consolidated's Applied Sciences Division brings Central City police scientist Barry Allen (guest star Grant Gustin) to town. Citing a similar case back home, Barry offers to help Oliver (Stephen Amell) and team with the investigation. Oliver senses there is more to Barry than meets the eye, but he's distracted by the similarities between this current case and something that happened on the island. Meanwhile, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) takes a liking to Barry, which doesn't go unnoticed by Oliver. Sin (guest star Bex Taylor-Klaus) asks Roy (Colton Haynes) for help when a friend of hers goes missing. Roy is surprised when Thea (Willa Holland) not only encourages him to help, but joins the search. Unfortunately, Sin's friend is connected to Brother Blood (guest star Kevin Alejandro), and their search ultimately gets one of them seriously injured.

Michael Schultz directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kresiberg and teleplay by Andrew Kreisberg & Geoff Johns (#208).

Oh, Felicity ... LOL

Don't know that Grant Gustin guy ... It looks like a bit much of hype around him, from the previews he looks not that über-sensational.
But ok, let's see in the show ...

Well saw the ep and it was one of the better shows of the season, in that there were no flaws that I saw. Nothing that let slide.
About summer in ep 8, if she thinks this was a good ep for her hmmmm:?:    
Nothing out of ordinary for her here, just a few more scenes.
I find it odd they hire summer to play the role , and then after 8 eps nothing significant ???
So now we see the super soldier, who is sort of like the hulk LOL.
I wonder if slade is dead , but I would have to say no.
Oliver said he killed one before, will that wind up being slade? hope not.
I thought it was funny when oliver had to explain to shado about caty being the girl he was with and the sister of the girl he loved ! LOL and he was also with shaddo.
good show, part 2 should be as good.
Oh and merlin, mommy took care of him by rattng him out to league of ASS.

Yeah, good episode with nice Felicity scenes.
But this wasn't the one important ep for Summer, was it?? She's kind of wasted again ...

What I don't get, why is this Barry guy the one they need to save the wounded Oliver?? Is he a wonder doctor??

Well, and Shado now knows what a shallow womanizer Olli is ... she should take Slade, who really loves her.
And that's why I always say that Felicity is way too good for Olli. Stop Olicity!!!

Well the old ollie was the shallow one, but starting with shado I think he was different.

Barry is a chemist so he could better understand a new compound etc.
Funny though they showed the shelf of chemicals, and barry says this is unsafe, and then we hear lighting.
This is how the flash was created in original comic, lightning strikes the shelf knocking the charged chemicals over him and presto he is the flash!!  

And yeah the isabel character, they have just wasted screen time, If your going to intro someone do it right!
compare the caty intro to isabel, and it is a huge difference, same thing for barry.
I think a intro ep should focus on that character, and make them interesting and plenty of depth given, then you can go to casual appearances.
They are doing the opposite with summer/Isabel, and I bet most fans of the show who dont know summer now do not like that character.
I like summer , but I have to say her character on this show is very bland and boring.
