That was a solid finale, Spencer's death was identical to the comic, loved seeing his guts spilled out. Finally passive Rick is gone, the last half of the season ought to be great

yeah it was fairly good, they are almost the magnificent 7! only there are 8 of them lol.

So now rick sees the light, the group is together again, and they are going to take on
all those desperado's ! aint that sweet !!

I would say get carole but she dont want to see anyone lol
and morgan, he dont want to kill anyone.

so now they need to build alliances, that might be good.

Negan will be mad about daryl though !

Carol still doesn't know about Glenn or Abraham dying though, I think once she finds out, she gets back into the fight

Even though, I can't fathom what's wrong with Carol overall. Good point. Carol and Morgan are still in the dark as to what's happened, and the new reality will likely be their motivating force. Also, they're off the radar as far as Negan is concerned. He doesn't know they exist or which group they're apart of. So, that's an advantage for awhile.

Yeah, that was a good mid season finale IMO. Some slow filler here and there but the central scene with Negan playing pool and Spencer was quite good even better than the B/W of the comics. The really pristine look of the neighborhood in color and the fair weather made the whole scene surreal. Good call on their part.

Just wondering how Daryl and Jesus got out of that fortress unseen that we saw from a distance but OK minor. Also, I have to wonder why the guy from the Kingdom is tapping Carol and Morgan to champion a war. Not only are they a hard sell but what influence do they have except to be relatively new. I guess they needed some excuse to get back in the game.

Still, they had all the feels at the end and hope renewed.
