"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." returns with a vengeance for the fourth exciting season in an all-new time period, TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC. In the aftermath of their journey to another planet, Director Phil Coulson and the rest of the team were driven more than ever to put an end to the Hydra organization. Little did they know that they were up against the deadliest threat they've ever faced - an extremely powerful Inhuman, Hive, who was transported back from Maveth in the body of their worst enemy, Grant Ward. The team was able to thwart and kill Hive and take down Hydra, but they are all still mourning the death of fellow agent and Inhuman Lincoln Campbell.

In light of the Sokovia Accords, and with Hydra obliterated, S.H.I.E.L.D. has been legitimatized again and no longer needs to operate in the shadows. Since the world presumes that Coulson is dead, the organization needed a new Director to be the face of the organization. Coulson finds himself back in the role as an agent and teamed with Mack, and together they are tasked with tracking down and confirming the presence of Enhanced people, aka Inhumans. Agent May is tasked with training specialist strike teams, and Fitz and Simmons have taken a big step forward in their relationship.

In the season premiere episode, "The Ghost," Ghost Rider is coming, and S.H.I.E.L.D will never be the same.

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons and Henry Simmons as Agent Alphonso "Mack" MacKenzie.

Guest starring are Natalia Cordova-Buckley as Elena "Yo-Yo" Rodriguez, Gabriel Luna as Robbie Reyes, Mallory Jansen as Aida, Lorenzo James Henrie as Gabe, Briana Venskus as Agent Piper, Max Osinski as Agent Red, Ricardo Walker as Agent Prince, Edward Gelhaus as skinhead, Ian Hutton as Blondie, Blaise Miller as lab tech, Samuel Barajas as Felix, Bryan Rasmussen as warehouse manager, Wilson Ramirez as Diego, Jen Kuo Sung as Chen, Jerry Ying as thug #1 and Lilli Birdsell as Lucy.

"The Ghost" was written by Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen and directed by Billy Gierhart.

I am really excited for Ghost Rider!

Is this the flaming skull GR ?? on a motorcycle ??
Doesnt really fit in this show, as he is really a supernatural deal.

I read the original comic, and the story is kinda unique and unto itself.

on a side note, I was looking at emmy winners, and Tatiana finally won !!
Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
The guy from mr robot won the male award lol, he did a good job but the show was
also nominated for several awards ! I guess they liked it way more than me.

Also BC Saul was nominated for several awards ! didnt win anything same for Americans.
Guy who plays saul also nominated . so that should help that show.

And of course the idiots keep giving awards to GOT.

But at least they nominated saul and americans, and Tatiana got a emmy finally.
Nothing for tyrant tscc, probably why it was canceled ??
had it been nominated, they might have given another season.

Yea, super happy she won... And Game of Thrones cleaned up too, as it SHOULD!


Also, they are incorporating GR because Dr Strange is coming out in November so they are expanded into the mystical stuff.

The season premiere was decent. But I'm not yet convinced of that flaming skull called Ghost Rider. It may be just me, but for me it feels a bit over the top even for something like AoS and doesn't seem to fit into the greater story. But hopefully that will change ...
I'm far more excited about the Aida plot. This A.I. looks like having some great potential!
I wonder if the "demon from the box", who seems to have taken over May, is connected with the Ghost Rider, who was said to take or destroy the souls of humans?

it feels a bit over the top even for something like AoS and doesn't seem to fit into the greater story......... yeah thats what I was trying to say, the original comic was supernatural,
and dealt with the devil etc.
They mentioned burned souls so they dont heal and they die, so if your dealing with souls
then it is in the devil, heaven and hell arena.
They had another one at same time called son of satan lol so maybe he pops in later

So may is possessed ? I missed that, the whole box thing is over the top as well.
This isnt what AOS should be about.

I dont get why daisy is off on her own either.
She get her old van back ?? lol

I miss ward too, he should have a twin brother who shows up !

And on the robo girl lol tscc, we like it due to tscc no telling where that leads.
It might be interesting.

I liked their interpretation of Ghost Rider, and I would argue that it does fit into AOS because they investigate all the weird stuff, and they exist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe so anything that happens in the movies are fair game for the show. I thought it was a good episode, and May appears to have been affected by the ghost thing that was in the box. I thought Ghost Rider looked pretty cool, especially because it's a tv show.

Despite of not quite yet getting excited about the Ghost Rider storywise, I have to agree that the special effects around him are done very well, like they are generally in AoS. I cannot complain at all in this matter.
