Wow, that was another awesome "what if" episode. Now we know how Root would have ended, if the Machine never had existed ... terrifying, but made a lot of sense imho ...
Damn, this show has really gotten under my skin ... more than a TV show should ... it's so good, but on the other hand if they just hadn't killed Root ... and I'm pretty concerned that they actually will kill off more of Team Machine in the series finale ... I DON'T WANT THAT!!!
There's a good chance the finale might ruin this outstanding show for me finally ... I DON'T WANT THAT!!!
But I can only wait and see ...

I thought it was a flat and poorly constructed ep.

Harold didnt give the machine, which since they wont name it I will !
Machine = Root 2.0
Samaritan= Sam

First I dont care for the what if crap, it got too much time.
this was next to last show !!!! not into what if's.
Plus there is no way 2.0 could know that is how things would turn out, that is only 1
scenario of thousands.

Harold's plan was weak, if he didnt trust 2.0 with the pw .
He should have died in the room with greer.

greer was not main enemy, it was sam, greer is nothing without sam.

The other thing is sam and also the machine could simply shut down or isolate themselves to
avoid the virus.
Then they would try to get a look at the virus code, and a ai that powerful could find a solution
to any virus code written by a human.

I would think both would have firewalls, and antivirus that would be way beyond what any human
could write.

2.0 should not have to die to kill sam.

I have no idea if they will kill more of Team 2.0, but they may.
It doesnt matter now that they already killed root.

Like the yt girl said, root living on in the machine is BS !! Root is dead.

The finale is they have some cool twist may make me change my mind, but right
now I dont think too much of S5

I think maybe for me the first 3 seasons will be the show , and I will ignore the rest.

I do that with dexter and BB, To me last ep of S4 bb is the ending I like, and for dexter S7 sucked
so it ends with 6 .
I bet they killed the dvd sales for s7 and whole series, by killing deb, and then the bizzare finALE.

bUT POI finale may be good, but I aint expecting it to be very good.
