I am slowly catching up on all of my shows. I thought this finale was so-so. Kinda unbelievable how Oliver was able to beat Darhk, but ok. I am curious to see how next season shapes up with most of the team leaving.

A while ago I reduced my expectations of Arrow, when they focused too much on that Olicity kitsch, so now I also think the seasaon finale was quite ok.
I even like Felicity again, because lately she was more of the old nerdy hacker and there were some good lines, especially when she was working together with her father. So far I found Donna pretty amusing, but how she forced away Kuttler again, fealt kind of shady.
I agree, after all it was pretty easy for Ollie to kill Darhk, but probably Ollie's "hope magic" (now supported by his fellow citizens, who had been inspired by his big hope speech) is supposed to have worked finally and has rejected Darhk's powers. But for my taste way too much random magic crap in the show by now. And to be honest, that crazy guy Machin (?) alone (totally ridiculous that he was still around and could strike again) did the main work of destroying Darhk's underground base and his whole plan and even killed his wife. So Ollie only needed to give Damien the little rest ...
I was a bit surprised, that this season ended without a significant cliffhanger (might even serve as a series finale). The team leaving isn't one, because I'm sure, they will all come back for or during season 5.
One thing I don't get is, how Malcom can be still around ... this character has been really a pain in the ass for a long time now ... this season he added Laurel to his list (to name just the most prominent victim of this season) ... and Team Arrow again just moves on?? What a crap! Such writing actually hurts ...

It's already been picked up for season 5, so it will be back. I don't see how Diggle can come back, he re-enlisted in the Army. I read an interview with Stephen Amell, he said next season will go back to the roots of the first season, no super or mystical powers.
