I really liked the premiere episode, it's off to a good start. Also, Zoom is another great villain. This season should be great.
I liked it too. Pretty solid season opener, though I needed some time to adjust to the "everybody on his own" and Barry all alone part of the episode. After having seen ep 2x02 it actually makes sense as a set up ep for the second season. I liked "Dr. Wells's" confession about the murder of Barry's mom. Somehow that reverse Flash is not a total bad guy, which reminded me of the awesome job that actor delivered throughout season 1 as Dr. Wells/Reverse Flash. The definitely have to bring him back somehow! And I agree, it fealt kind of weird that Barry's father immediately left after he got out of prison. But I think, it's not so much because the actor is too busy (don't see him in any other series), but the writers simply don't know what to do with him appropriately besides some feel-good family stuff, so they rather pushed him back until they figure something out.
