Fear The Walking Dead - Episode 1x03 "The Dog" September 13, 2015

Hm, ep 1x03 was not that exciting. They started to show some headshot splatter, but we had more than enough of that in TWD already, so ...
The junkie kid is getting on my nerves with his constant whining for his pills, and to be honest, the Spanish speaking guy is more interesting than the whole Travis gang.
I think the problem is that I already know the outcome, so even the appearance of the army can't provide much tension. Again the basic premise of everyone coming back, even if the cause of death is an accident or just natural, does bother me more than ever. Like the Spanish guy said at the end of the ep, it's already too late, so we'll get the zombie apocalypse ... it's all too predictable and I guess it soon will turn just into TWD II ... right now I just don't see that I need that. The original TWD actually should be enough for me.
But since there are only three eps left, I probably will finish season 1 and decide later, if I tune in for S2.

I really like the Spanish dad, I actually enjoyed this episode, we are seeing society fail, and we know it will lonely get worse from here. Also, TWD is only 4 weeks away!

I liked the ep, I thought they were leaving but now the army is making them stay put.

the thing I wonder is why they made nick a heroin addict at all ??
The mexican guy is ruben blades, he was in predator 2, he was a partner of danny glover and got whacked by the predator.

and it IS WD II lol, but they have a chance to not follow the comic story here.
All the characters in WD, or most of them were already laid out, so for this one they have to create
new characters, and they will make some good ones and some bad ones.

The only corny thing in this one was the 1 Z killing a big dog !! lol that wouldnt happen, he might
bite the dog and infect it but the dog would tear him up.

I wonder if the dog would turn, we have yet to see anything as a zombie besides a human.

Hm, actually I don't remember that we have ever seen a zombie animal in TWD so far. I guess, the zombie "virus" only works on humans. Otherwise it just gets too weird. If any bite of a zombie ant or bug etc. infected humans, there soon would barely be any human survivors ...
