Yes she did say yes. But...... I dont really care for her being a fed agent, they lose the whole her and castle as a team, and the 2 detectives I like are now isolated from all the action. And it appears Castle is too. They had a great formula for the show that worked great, perfect cast so why change it?? The new cast members I dont care for at all. This first ep was good, and had the oh no ending, but I hope this isnt going to last all season. This is going to hurt the ratings they built up, I can see those going down as the season goes on if she does not go back to NY and her old job.
During season 5 I for whatever reason (probably lack of time and setting priorities) stopped watching after eps 5x15 and 5x16 (the double feature, which was pretty good though). Only a few days ago I saw eps 5x17 and 5x18, but it may take some more weeks to catch up. So for now I cannot contribute much here, if I don't want to be spoiled too much, what I already somehow am. But that's no big deal, because I'm not that excited about the whole relationship stuff with Castle and Beckett. Seriously, in the end she will just marry Castle after all the usual difficulties, that's not very surprising anyways. Maybe since Castle and Beckett are together, it's more like a usual cop and romance show. Just look at this video of the good old times. There was much more fun and dynamic and Beckett was not stalking around on high heels like a model during regular work and had a much more functional style (hair, clothes etc.) for police work.

Yeah but shows change, that is most of them. I like the cast and the way they work as a team , so I am not liking S-6 so far as much of that seems not likely! In fact I find S-6 a little bizarre, that they would do this to a show that had a good format. As for functionality I am for that, sometimes she wears her hair like a police woman, as for shoes I dont pay that much attention. I was watching a 5-0 ep S-3 the one where dano flashes back to his NY partner, and it was a woman and she was totally not believable as a cop. ( also steves mom, mrs super cia) Then beauty and the beast was also a joke. So compared to them kate is ok. but yeah sometime she is dressed wrong for the job. The last few eps of S-5 are really good, you should enjoy them.
