Yeah, Tyrant has become quite a serious and interesting show by now. The whole conversation between Bassam and Samira was very intense and made me sad, even when it wasn't sure yet, how tragically it would end. They pointed out very well, how devastating that whole mess is to the normal people in the Middle East and what such circumstances do to them. I think it's impossible to actually imagine, how those people like in Syria are suffering without any hope left ... not even seeing a tiny light at the end of the tunnel, just getting worse day after day ... damn, I'm thankfull every day that I just was lucky not to be born in those doomed areas of the world ... I don't know, what to think about Bassam finally killing Samira. He only had bad choices. It was impossible to save her, so just leave her painfully bleeding out? So he tried to save her that ... but it's something he has to carry along all his life ... yeah, this ep was tough to watch, but imho worth it ... Jamal's new son (and new general) seems to be a good guy, he actually cared and tried to avoid civilian casualities. Sadly he let himself being talked into a rushed air strike, which probably will cause more collateral damage and hate, which in the end might drive more people into the arms of the Caliphate just like Samira, who in the end only want revenge without caring what other goals the Caliphate tries to achieve ... Can't wait for the next ep, the preview is promising ...

Can't wait for the next ep, the preview is promising ... yeah would be bad to be born over there. the Caliphate are just as bad as the al fied, and she just wanted revenge, since the caliphate had not wronged her like al phied. She should have just went with them. She served no purpose really with the caliphate. All this will change bassam, and now his kid is coming to that town so they may see or run into each other? the show is getting better, I just hope it gets a S-3! So far I have been lucky, with the other low rated cable shows, like Turn, Bates, Americans, were all renewed, and those 3 and this one are my favorites now.
