I admit, it doesn't matter, how it's called, but according to Hell on Wheels @ Wikipedia it's officially only one fifth season, but consists of two parts airing in 2015 and 2016:

"... On November 7, 2014, Hell on Wheels was renewed for a fifth and final season consisting of 14 episodes to be aired in 2015 and 2016. ..."

He talks about the show and his character, and you can blame him for some things , and praise him for others, as he does have some say about the show.

Read these 2, according to anson S-6 will end the show with 7 eps next summer. 2016.

S-5 has been much better than S-4, and is pretty much a separate story from the others.
But the swede is in it and they give a little of eva and the others.

I have enjoy S-5 thru ep 7, and I think it will have 10, 3 more in sept, it is a 4 week hiatus.

I haven't started with S5 yet. S4 was to quite some extent not that exciting and actually had a few pretty weak episodes around Elam and Ruth, which didn't make much sense imho and were wasted more or less. So I probably will save it up for long winter nights.
But I'm pretty sure that I read S5 will be the last one.

I think the racism just shows the times. I think the Swede is trying to replace Brigham Young as the true prophet.  I was glad Cullen let Mae go back to work.

Well I get tired of them going on about it over and over in so many shows.

Swede is trying to replace Brigham Young...... ok dont see how but he is getting the kid on his side.

I thought mae could be his sidekick and interpreter, not just common laborer.

Yea, so far the season is off to a good start

Good ep now he knows its a girl, everyone on imdb spotted that in first ep, but not me.
So I already knew from that.
pushing the engine up a hill is kinda silly, I would have just built a track up to it and back to main line.
Get it on the track and drive it back onto main line.

Then the girl survives the fall ? o well its tv.
The swede get some shoes and a harmonica!

ok saw the first ep and it was pretty good.
the prophet and the devil lol.
The chinese guy is a good bad guy.

I do have a forum for it down below i need to move it up to active.

I am so glad this is back on. I really like shifting the storyline to the west, it opens up more storylines. I also like the Swede being back with Cullen. This show works well when those two are clashing. Good start to the season.
