2x08 "Memento Mori"

The Creature (Rory Kinnear) unleashes his rage on Frankenstein (Harry Treadaway) over Lily (Billie Piper). Inspector Rusk (Douglas Hodge) discovers Sir Malcolm’s (Timothy Dalton) connection to Ethan Chandler (Josh Hartnett). Malcolm goes to confront Evelyn — but quickly finds himself assaulted by another one of her deadly enchantments.

Well, it's already renewed for a third season.
And yes, I like season 2. Some may say, the pace is a bit slow, but I don't mind. Eva Green alone is worth watching. She's both amazing and creepy, but the rest of the cast and the scenery is first class too.
