Ok I am on ep 11 right now, S-2 has been pretty good.
This show captures the essence of the comic better than any movies have or other tv shows.

It is like a video comic.

I still dont like the actress they chose to play elektra, and her english accent is real bad, and they didnt
present the original elektra as in frank miller comic, but even so it has still been good.

Jon has been great as the punisher, I am hoping they dont put him in the silly uniform, he doesnt need it,
he would only look silly in a uniform.

Electra has been so different, no comment on her.

DD , dont think he needed a new uniform. but again have had some good fight scenes.
when I watch this though it just seems like he takes too much of a beating every time.
They should have that only aganst a bad ass , and have him take out the lessers quite quickly.
Also seems like in this one even DD would see that sometimes you have to kill not capture.

Foggy great as usual and very much like in the comic .

Karen better in S-2 I wonder if she keeps job as reporter?
I like her and punisher relationship.

Well only 2 and 1/2 to go, but might watch this again in a few weeks or so.

O and stick and fisk being in the show added a lot to it.

And I think the zombie hand or getting too mystical is not good.

I already finished the second season, I agree about Elektra, I think she was the only weak spot of the season, Jon Bernthal was phenomenal as Punisher.

Well they based a lot of this season on the daredevil series back in the 80's

All the elektra, hand and stick stuff came from that, but they then made many changes
to what was in the books.

I have digital copys of the books, but dont know where I could up them to for you
to read if you wanted.

In that series, DD 168-178, was a great story, and electra was a sad and troubled
person and pretty for a comic character.
She wasnt anything like what they wrote for this show.

This elektra was ok, but when she dies it is oh well, but when the elektra died
in the comic the fans were upset about it, and later they did a special ep where
she sort of came back from the dead, and then disappeared, just to appease
the fans.
They are now using that same thing in the show, to bring her back.

The whole black sky thing was silly, and not in the comic.
Stick saved her, he could have let her die, and then 2 eps later sends 1 guy to kill her ??
She was supposed to be some super great warrior, but then was avg in most fights lol.

She didnt use the sai or train with them, but later goes hmm these are cool will keep them!

But overall the show was good, this was by far the best punisher ever, and fisk was
good, he added a lot to the show.
Karen is now a reporter lol but that is good.

I guess bullseye will be next, thing is in the comic I think it was him that killed elektra,
and he was woven into the story instead of punisher.

I need to read that story again , it has been a long time since I read it.

I think if they had just presented the FM story with bullseye and electra, from the comic
they would have had a great story, and could have done the punisher in S-3.

I have to say this too, at the end he finds what will be his suit and a armoury....
out in cabin in the woods?? lol
but I can see wearing a protective and armoured suit. but the scull thing just is corny,
sure it is in the comic, but it didnt really fit the character they built.

I just dont see him wearing a uniform or a mask, and if he did it would be for protection
and only on certain missions.
