This ep was much better than the last few,  I wonder , have they ever done a show with no zombies at all?
I was liking just the human interaction in this one,  and when they injected the zombies it was
sort of distracting.
This show would be better with less zombies.

Ep 5x12 was pretty good. It's interesting to follow the process of Rick's gang trying to adapt somehow into this "too good to be true" scenery.
I think Deanna (?) and her people are not like the Governour or Terminus. They actually try to maintain some kind of civilization and don't seem to set up just another trap.
It's rather clear, that they expect some kind of strength and protection from Rick's group, no wonder why Rick is supposed to be the cop. If this works out, it would be a win-win for both of the communities.
The problems I see though are the usual little misunderstandings between human beings, the every-day little crap going on (as with idiots like Aiden), which easily might lead to some escalation and - given Rick's history - to another catastrophe.
What is weird though ... where's the gun, that Rick had hidden? Was he observed then? By whom? By the "exiled"? Are they out for revenge on Alexandria? And Rick's group arrived just in time to get into the cross-fire (maybe deliberately brought in by Deanna as the desperately needed reinforcement?) just in time?
Oh, and I liked Carol a lot this time. When she handed over the machine gun ... as if she had never fired a single shot and couldn't harm a fly ... and her community service ... or how she talked about her husband Ed in the interview ... That was pretty smart. Why tell everyone that she's the most dangerous person besides Rick and Daryl .... just lay low and wait and see ...
Looks like TWD is back on track, I'm actually interested again!

It was good because they had the human element and less mindless zombie stuff.
Humans bad or good make for more intersting shows than the zombie stuff.

Whi took the gun? that is a good mystery, who could have seen him hide it?
Deanna seems legit, but it is a interesting story set up.

Yep. Haven't seen one second of it, because I suppose that's absolutely not my cup of tea, especially because of the terrible rap music ...
Unbelievable that something like that is such a ratings monster ...
But to be fair, I should at least try to watch one ep before I finally judge ...
BTW, I think "Carter" from PoI has a leading role, regarding the ratings she might now be happy about her "death" in PoI.
