"Black Market" - The Mentalist S7 E4

The team investigates a murder linked to a counterfeit diamond operation, but an illness forces Jane to direct his colleagues from the office as he recuperates. Meanwhile, Abbott is concerned that transgressions in his past could harm his wife's chance to obtain a prestigious job in Washington, D.C.

I liked at the diamond store, "Mr. and Mrs. Cho". I was surprised that he would feel comfortable enough to do it with his boss,(she isn't technically his boss anymore but he would still look at it that way I bet). Or he would tell her to do it with Jane. But with no Rigsby on the team anymore Cho has to fill in those undercover spots at times. It was cute that the team went back in, and Jewelry Store owner Hugo Joubert asked Teresa,"Is there something wrong?" Her reply as she showed her badge, "FBI and the engagement is off!" Cute!
Jane figuring out that his assistant Dixie Boykin, and Hugo are having and affair. He states,"I love my wife!" and Dixie replies, "What??" I would think she would remain quiet and know that Hugo said it to cover up to the accusations. But they were not part of the thefts, they just did bad record keeping on their transactions.

2 of the added in plot points,helpful Security Guard( Elon Bell) and not happy daughter(Bibby Fortensky) turned out to be the diamond stealers/stairway killers. I had wondered about them. You could see Kirk Upton had signaled someone when Kimball Cho and Michelle Vega came into the show area. Not sure if it was Bibby or Elon he waved at.

Thought for a bit it might have been Walker Pond. But maybe that was to obvious?

Lisbon the Psychic at the gem show was good, You could see her real nervous and unsure at first and then going from daringness to confidence by the time she was done. I knew that Kirk heading to a place to sneak a smoke was a big clue. But I didn't catch on earlier that Bibby was chewing Nicorette type gum. I saw when her Mom Greta looked at her during the interview that she was not confident. But then she talked about the business and did good. But even if mom said it was her destiny we see it wasn't what she wanted to do.So with the heist she was looking for quick money.

I like Vega trying to convince Cho she was sorry and wanted him to trust her. Abbott told him to take her on the next interview and he had understood her lying to Kimball. But Cho did not tell her she did a good job that day. But he finally told her she had to earn his trust so that he can depend on her out in the field. When she asked what she had to do to earn it, he replied, "Do your job!" He softened a little and invited her to the shooting range. Very nice Cho!

I do think that Jason Wylie has a crush on her. I am not quite sure it is mutual. I think there is a little fan crush maybe from Michelle to Cho. That may deepen or wear off and I believe after her lie it has some. Cho I know doesn't have any for her. Since he dropped Summer he has been all work When isn't he!?

Well with Lena being approved for the DC job we have many possible scenarios I can see. 1) The Rio Bravo Station( wasn't John Wayne there?)part has little effect and at end they move to DC. 2) Abbott forces her to go to DC alone and it looks like they are separated. 3) They separated because it becomes a big deal and she can't handle it. Bob Ackerman seems to know about it, or most of it. He wants Abbott to break up with wife. If that happens it will make it rough at HQ.

Was the final scene in the Airstream? I did think it looked it.
