No, they didn't skip a week. I was just looking that way, because they made ep 1x02 available right after the premiere of ep 1x01 for 24 hours for cable subscribers, so on the premiere weekend the first two eps were available "out there":

They did the same a week ago after the official Syfy airing for ep 1x02 for ep 1x03:

But this time only a low quality version made it to the "public".
So the official airing schedule at Syfy is a weekly one, which "regular" viewers have to stick to ...

Well, I enjoyed ep 1x03 a lot again.
Looks like this is a fine show for me with an absolutely likable main cast (Aron and Amanda). I didn't see it coming that Cole shot poor Henri ... and of course he lied to Cassie about that. Will she ever get to know the truth?

Cole shot poor Henri ........That did not make sense and it makes arron look bad.
I figure he did not want the other guy to get info out of him?
and did he kill him the first time or just when he went back after she told him about henri?

The new part of story where his past is catching up to him in the future lol is interesting, but I am on the fence with this show.
I sort of like it , but I think it will get old fast, due to the concept of he is looking to stop the plague, and that will just go on and on.

It is a mission he can never complete, but if they let him do that, and intro other problems then it would be better.

Well, I also didn't like Cole to shoot Henri, but from his view and in his logic of getting to the virus first at any costs to destroy it and prevent the plague from happening, it had to be done to prevent "Pale Man" from potentiallly getting the same info ... to finally be able save the billions ...
And like you hinted at, the problem is that Cole only could go after Henri and kill him because of Cassie's intel (I think Henri's death in the first time line actually was caused by mobsters as reported, but Cole changed that), so after she found out in ep 1x05, she was pretty pissed and lost quite some trust in Cole.
