"Secrets and Lies" - After the Mayor is victimized by a stalker, the TAU must determine if he is being harassed by one of his angry constituents or if a scandalous secret from his past is coming back to haunt him, on STALKER Wednesday, Jan. 14 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on CBS.

Stalker - Episode 1.12 - Secrets and Lies - Sneak Peek

This was a decent ep, and the show won or tied for the hour in ratings 1.6 and 7.3 mil
Which isnt bad but CBS wants to try their new csi show.

I liked at the end perry gets out on bail disappears and goes to see beth's old stalker who is in some psyche ward.
The show ended with them meeting.
I hope the show doesn't end with this part of storyline just left open.
But I was glad to see it was still ongoing.

Yeah, I liked ep 1x12 too. Obviously Perry will team up with Beth's old Nemesis and be the big bad for the next episodes. In ads they said the next Stalker eps will air as six in a row (including 1x12), what would make 17 eps ... What then? Cancellation?
At least I think there's plenty of time to wrap up the Perry plot decently. To drag it out even longer wouldn't work well imho.
BTW, the case of the week was pretty interesting with some nice turns and twists (didn't see the escort girl being the mayor's daughter for quite some time).

That is wild, guess she put the whammy on him pretty quick!

my guess is they stopped production at 17 so they will air those.
Which means no ending.
however it is possible they were told at 16 so used 17 as the wrap up.

After being a "toss up" for most of the season, Stalker is now likely to be canceled. CBS announced that it would be replaced by CSI:Cyber after airing only 17 of its 20 episodes ordered. The fact that only 20 episodes were ordered (not the 22 in a "normal" full season order) is a another negative indicator that as far as the bear knows was only revealed last Friday. Looks like the CBS PR Jedi put a mind trick over on the bear in late October when they announced the "full season" for Stalker and the bear assumed it was for 22, otherwise he'd have moved it to "likely canceled" then. "This is not the full season order episode count you were looking for. Move along. Move along."

In light of the renewal of Madam Secretary, Stalker is now certain to be canceled.
MS had worse ratings than stalker lol so it must be CBS production

The wording above seems to indicate 20 were ordered but only 17 were made, which is why I say the stopped production.
But you never know they may have made 20, or they may be making # 15 right now I dont really know, just guessing.
I hope they got word before 17 was made so they can wrap up the perry story etc.

the other odd thing is elementary will get another season and it does no better than stalker.
