saw the show, and they killed off beth!! she was one of the few I liked, I would say she was my fav.
They always kill off the ones I like !

not a good way to end midseason.

Whole ep was kinda dark and depressing.

Saw the after credits with morgan, have no idea what that meant, unless he is after rick.

I wasn't that impressed at all with the first half of the season, I am used to them killing people I like, especially on this show. I hope the second half is better

Well, well ... this could have been a really good midseason finale for me, but ... why the h­ell can't they even for only once, I mean only ONCE, resist their urge to shock the audience with another dramatic death.
Hm, is it because otherwise they don't have to offer that much plotwise? Maybe ...
So yeah, they actually managed to more or less ruin the second midseason finale in a row. Last year Hershel, now Beth. Though she wasn't one of the most important characters of the show, she was likable and around now for quite some time.
Ok, I might have been warned, because right at the beginning I had to see how Rick just ran over that poor guy with his car and just shot him (I think I'm not wrong, when I sensed even a smile in Rick's face during his "small talk" with the guy). I mean that guy tricked Sascha, but he didn't kill her, so no, I don't buy that "making tough decisions" excuses, Rick imho just lost it to a certain degree.
The more I was surprised that Rick still listened to Daryl and Tyreese and kept an open mind for the negotiating solution.
Back to Beth's death. If the writers really wanted Beth dead, why the h­ell had it to be that absolutely stupid way??? What the h­ell did Beth seriously expect to achive out of such an idiotic action?? Other than she said to Dawn, she hadn't got anything at all that moment. Actually she's not only to blame herself for getting shot accidently (Dawn clearly did that by mistake), but she put all her group members in grave danger. I mean, Dawn's intention was not to kill anyone by demanding Noah, she just wanted to prove in her kind of b­itchy way to her group that she had the better end of the deal, which wasn't the smartest thing either, but it could have worked because of Noah's sacrifice.
So I blame the writers for having Beth to act that stupid just to get another dramatic death. That could and should have been done better, if nothing else, for the sake of Beth's character. I'm sorry to say and it may sound kind of harsh, but as much as I liked Beth, she'll also be remembered for that senseless stupid action (though some might try to sell it as bravery), which got her killed.
BTW, now nobody except Noah wanted out of the hospital?
I also would prefer, if they didn't just provide a few teaser seconds with Morgan, but some real development.
Oh, and Gabriel actually had to see Bob's leg to believe the cannibalism and evilness of Gareth's gang? That was seriously meant to be part of his motivation to leave the safe church all alone??
Well, ok ... but I guess I'll tune in again in February, at least Carol seems to have made it ... ;-)

Well, speaking of the police guys, you may be right, but their "patients" like Noah would rather stay?? We learned that there was quite some maltreatment and beating, even rape. Maybe they are already kind of brain-washed, so they actually might prefer the "safeness" of the hospital to taking the risk and go out into the zombie world. Well, I still think the writers just don't want to use them for the future story, so they just have to stay behind ...

The beth dying was all contrived and not well done. It made no sense, and what did she mean by I understand??
And then stabbing her with the very small scissors?
 The thing is they have a formula and ratings keep going up so they think this is what they need to keep doing.
For me certain characters made the show, and they have killed off all of them !

I quit watching after S-2, then got back into it when they had the young crazy girl, but now  I am losing interest again.
