| - After being a "toss up" for most of the season, Stalker is now likely to be canceled. CBS announced that it would be replaced by CSI:Cyber after airing only 17 of its 20 episodes ordered. I wasn't expecting Stalker to get a backorder; now we find out that the backorder was only for 7, not 9, episodes, and that it will be taken off the schedule before all its episodes air. Either one of those would set alarm bells ringing; the combination may as well file the Missing Persons Report as of February 26th. | |

| I was just checking, and I thought it did good enough to finish the full season, but evidently not.
So I think we get only 6 more eps and no real ending
I wonder if maggie ever made the pirate miniseries??
it has not officially been canceled yet, but it would take maybe some other shows like the one replacing it to do worse. I think it is best to assume it is gone after ep 16 or 17/

| I changed the thread title, because it's not officially cancelled yet. Maybe there's a bit of hope in case CSI Cyber (Jeez, who needs another CSI show???) fails ... And yes, if it comes to a case of the week cop show, I'd always prefer Maggie Q to any whatever CSI show ... | |

The nielsen crowd loves CSI and NCIS shows, they cant get enough of them. Not enough of them cared for Stalker from the beginning. The show started off low which really hurt it. Thing is CBS is the most demanding on the ratings, if the show were on one of the other 3 with same ratings, they might roll with it. The other thing is they said they might not even air all the shows that were made, so that means they are already thinking they will cancel it.
