Stephen isnt too good at looking for idols is he?? lol in a swamp??
none of them seem to be looking for the idol, and they all should know one is there
or in this case a clue, which isnt a clue , it tells you where it is exactly.
I wonder if they all will be at the challenges?

and yea jeff is smarter than he lets on, but one problem with allying with weak people, then  you have to keep them

and vote out people good in challenges, and so chances are you merge the weaker team.

I thought the girl  would not get the idol at the challenge, and I thought at the end once reaching
for the key everyone would be watching that so grab it then, and she did.
The funny thing is there was probably one on the other side  too but none of them had any idea one would be there.
Vytas could have used it, but I think he was surprised.

That was a odd vote , I wanted abi to go, but jeff from S-2 and spencer voted for vytas ??
I kinda get jeff but not spencer voting for him.
So the women may have the stronger alliance. that means abi could be around awhile.

I think joes tribe is the strongest and may keep winning, and voting vytas out will hurt the other tribe
way more than if it had been abi or peegee.

Im not so sure there is a womens alliance, I think Jeff is running things a little on that tribe. Physically the other tribe is stronger, but I wouldn't give them the nod yet. I hop they win enough for Stephen to make some in roads, I don't want to see him voted out quick.

I am ready for some new survivor!!
I have watched several older seasons, this summer.

I think it is weird they did this in cambodia, snakes, ants, mosquito's etc.
I bet this could be a hard one on these people.
I would rather be on a island one.

OK oVER AT imdb BIG SPOILERS are being posted, even who is voted out and in what order, with some blanks.
It is amazing how people watch social media!
one person who was voted out early, someone was watching their twitter feed, and they liked a picture, so that was proof they had been voted out.
it may be real or partially accurate . I quit reading so not to ruin the show, but I am thinking I might go back and just copy and paste into notepad and then look at it after the show airs.

they also posted who was on each team, and the team I thought would be strongest, evidently lost cause that team
was losing the members.

also said one quits cause their kid gets sick , a serious type illness.

Yea, their edits have gotten predictable. I also liked to watch the struggle of living around camp, seeing people go off to fish was usually always good strategy talk. There are usually only about two or three real candidates by the merge, then it is just a process of elimination and watching the edits. I prefer it when it is unpredictable.

yeah good point, a lot has changed since back then.
I also watched the thailand show, and back then they showed a lot more of camp life, and less of the challenges and rewards.
the shows today  it seems too much time is spent on challenges and rewards, so very little camp life is shown.

I guess it is all in the edit, and now since I know that when they show a lot of  one player it means  they will win, to me that is a flaw.
It was obvious this time with mike.

I am watching surv. 7 pearl Islands, and Savage  was a really bad leader and it was a bad dumb lazy team too.
This was  I think one of the first times a tribe threw a challenge (Drake) and it saved the savage/morgan tribe.

Savage thought osten was great and strong member, but he wanted to quit several times and then did.
then everyone knew osten cpuld not swim there was a chall. where they had to get 8 puzzle pieces from the water,
and 8 from the beach sand.
Savage had osten swimming out and diving down for them, which was insane, and he himself was digging in sand on beach.
When I saw it  I thought why is he not swimming and have osten digging?? That cst them that challenge when austin almost
drowned.
Another challenge, the rope pull osten was the last guy and I think savage should have been last simply because osten is a quitter.

He did not know how to  use the H. sling , none of them did, they thought it was just a spear you throw or jab with lol!

They built their shelter way down on beach and wasted energy fighting the waves building barricades to stop the water,
then rubert says  to them the tide will come up past the shelter at full moon so they moved it after much delay and talk,
And rubert says they work hard at not working.

But anyway I hope he learned some things watching the series the past 23 seasons
I know he also got upset when the people voted out got a 2nd chance , which was just part of the game, and he could have been one of them. I havent got to that part yet.

I can sleep on anything, I dislike most people lol, I think it alternates between getting rice or beans, I would prefer rice. I think the reason they don't fish anymore is here lately they haven't been in locations with good fishing

Oh yea, there is a lot of luck involved, team, fellow tribe members etc. I could handle the conditions and boredom, I spent 15 months in Iraq.

I wound up voting for shane after I had done 2 votes. I was surprised he did not get in.

I did vote for kass, as she will stir things up.

Just think they are probably in day 1 of the game right now!

u say u want to play, but here are some things peoole dont think about.

we see 13 hours of the game..... they live 936 hours of the game !
all that time with people you dont like and that dont like you.
You spend all day with those people and eat with them and sleep with them.
Imagine 39 days with kass and some others you did not like and then imagine
being with them 24 hours a day ! You might have to sleep next to kass Laughing

Sleeping on bamboo ! I dont see how they do that.
no blankets and even on a hot island  it gets cool at night.

Then there is the rain, that some have to deal with but some dont.

China was really bad with the rain.

except for rewards nothing cold to drink just hot water !

Not sleeping , being bored, some days there are no challenges, your just there.

Getting stuck on a bad team, no matter how good you might be , if your on the bad team and outside of the strong alliance  that team  chances are your gone before the jury.

a shake up that takes you from a good spot on good team and puts you in a likely spot where you will be voted out.

6 Q's with Jeff Probst:

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Okay, Jeff. I always make you do this. Where does Mike’s victory stack up against the rest? Analyze his game for me now that we saw it all from start to finish.
JEFF PROBST: I think Mike will go down as one of our top winners. He did what Colby didn’t. He took his biggest threat to the end and beat her. He is also in a very elite group of guys with 5 Individual Immunity wins, and he did it under the banner of Blue Collar, which makes it all that much more patriotic! He’s a good player. Any student of the game can see that. He makes moves, he’ll switch things up, he works hard around camp, he give 1000 percent in challenges—his reference, not mine—and ultimately, I think he is a gracious guy. I’m happy with him as a winner.

So do you keep a pocketful of flints on you at all times? That fire-making challenge between Carolyn and Rodney almost reached Becky vs. Sundra levels. How many flints would you have given them, and was there any point where you were going to go to matches like in Cook Islands?
That’s funny! Here was really no limit on flints other than us just simply running out. My feeling is that a broken flint can’t be the responsibility of a contestant. What if it was actually faulty? As for matches, yes, we were prepared for that, and we were getting close to doing that, but fortunately both of them got fire within about 30 seconds of each other and it made for a dramatic finish. Rodney went all out. His knuckles were bloody when it was over.

It appeared like there were no opening statements this time at the final Tribal Council—or were those just cut for time? And because there is always so much more we don’t see at Tribal, tell us about the overall mood as you perceived it there in terms of how the contestants were approaching and addressing the final three.
Yes, we have cut opening statements, as they were becoming redundant once all the jury questions were asked. I thought overall it was pretty respectful. Survivor juries have changed over the last several years, and in a positive way. They are rewarding good game play, and that always makes me happy because they are treating the finalists the way they would want to be treated. Shirin obviously went for the jugular, and I thought it was well written and well delivered. Very tough to do, and that’s why you rarely see it. Everybody thinks they can give the “Sue Hawk speech,” but very few can.

Let’s talk some reunion. I know you are fiercely protective of the show’s integrity and reputation, so explain your reaction when you heard Dan telling me (and maybe others) in his exit press interviews that he was a victim of “selective editing.”
Dan is not the first person to complain about getting a “bad edit.” But when Dan started giving specific examples of how we targeted him by completely re editing moments, it caught my eye. One specific example that came up in many interviews was when he called Rodney’s mother a “whore.” He said there were 30 minutes of “yo mama” jokes that had preceded this, and we just pulled his and made him look like “a jerk.” So, I pulled the raw footage and just started watching—and as you saw during the show, there wasn’t a single joke about anything, nor a single comment about anything related to moms. Here’s what is important for me to share with you—I wasn’t necessarily going to show the clip. I wanted to first check in with Dan and see how he was feeling, which I did. Had he said, “maybe I misspoke” or offered up any kind of mea culpa, I would not have shown it. But he didn’t. He stated the same reasons as he had in every other interview, so I did feel that I had to defend the show. It was really that simple.

You were clear that all the woman-bashing stuff from this season would be addressed at the reunion and it certainly was. How did you feel about what Dan, Will, and Shirin had to say?
Well, I was frustrated that we didn’t have more time, because I felt that Will and Shirin had a bit more to work out. I was having to rush both of them a bit, which makes it more difficult for them to get their points across. I would have liked to have talked to Shirin more about forgivenessm to see where her head is at with it all. I felt Will’s apology was sincere. But I understand from Shirin’s POV that she had many more questions she needed to understand before she could accept it. So at least we got a little forward momentum, and that was a good takeaway. I think Dan responded the only way he could, which is to own it. Dan remembered things differently than they actually happened. Now that he is on the record with that, I’m over it.

Man, that was so fun seeing the live vote for Survivor: Cambodia—Second Chance play out. Give us your initial thoughts on the cast—and can you reveal which male contestant got Mike’s slot when he became ineligible?
Boy, that was so much tougher than I anticipated. Having to tell people they did not get a second chance was really hard. I truly felt for them. Some of their faces, when I told them they would not get a shot—they’re etched in my memory. They were so courageous to agree to a public vote on national television. Every one of them earned a ton of respect, from me and I hope we find a way to put them on in a future season. It was a GREAT list of 32. Everybody with a story.

But going back to the positive—as for who the audience ultimately chose, I am very happy. I’m very pleased and pleasantly surprised by a few of their choices. From a balance point of view, we had a much higher percentage of recent seasons, so you have to expect more of them to make it—but I was very happy to see three people from Borneo and Australia, our first two seasons, make it in. Super cool. And no, we won’t ever reveal the total number of votes for each player, or the position of any player, or how close someone might have been to getting in. There is no point, and it would only hurt more feelings or crush someone to find out they were only a few votes shy of making it.

Well 15 0f the 20 I voted for made it, it should be a great All Star season!

The right person won yes he is a Texas guy, so am I , but he worked hard to get to the final 3.
Mike was intense and was great in challenges. I was surprised by the last challenge which heavily favored him.

Will coasted, by not being an kind of a threat.
MC was ok, but everything came easy for her , always being on wining team , and then the stronger alliance.

I think it was interesting that fans did not vote her back in, I know I did not vote for her or shirin.
I think shirin got the sympathy vote, but she let the cat out of the bag saying she made her first million
at age 25.
She is a crybaby millionaire ! Razz

I call this season dumb collars, some really dumb things with these people, including the puzzle challenge where it went for what 1 hour or 2 hours and jeff kept giving better clues, and almost had to tell them what it said. Laughing

Then the fire challenge, maybe not the worst, but took over a hour to get any flame at all not to mention
several flints. tongue
I could go on but no point to that.
But it was better than last season but still kinda flat/boring at times.

I voted for mike in allstars, so that means only 19 votes for me and only 3 made it that I did not vote for.
jeremy , kelly W and peanut butter guy.... oh one other savage, so 4.
But I am ok with them. I did want natalie to get in as she is nice to look at, She looked great in her video, much better than at reunion.

The reunion was good but cut too short due to the all star thing .
