Mentalist 6x13 thru end of Season 6

No JJ LaRoche on that list. 03-16-14 "Grey Water" 6.14 The list was a who's who of CBI non Red John adversaries. Richard Haibach(Lost) was one I figured would hate the team, especially after Bob Kirkland's Interrogation. Thumbs off to Hibach!! But not really sure if he could kill Osvaldo Ardiles. He is more of a child molester, whiner. But he was not happy. Setting up a trap that shot JJ LaRoche. Surprised LaRoche went in alone.
Dan Becker dead. BONES would have drained the whole pit. I almost thought the chasing of John Hutton was a wild goose chase. Jason Kern was Jane's first pick I bet.

Nice to see list and team whittle it down. Van Pelt has intruder. Wouldn't at least local PD be outside? Sure as usual intruder will get around or take out PD but.............

03-23-14 "White as the Driven Snow" 6.15  
Surprised there wasn't at least PD watching Van Pelt. Then Haibach would have to take them out or sneak around them to get Van Pelt. Rigsby talking to his son on the lap top was so cute.

Van Pelt using the 2x4 to try and break the lock on the cage door, how did she not get a hand full of slivers??? Yes she did cut herself on the nail she used to try to get the lock bracket loose. I knew after Van Pelt had escaped that that tan Jeep had to have been the SUV seen in the video. Didn't think about his sister until then though. I had figured the Rigsby/Jane argument by the car was a setup. Lucky though he didn't "shoot" them right there and take the car and go. Was Haibach actually soaked in gas? Haibach didn't seem to worried when they found out Van Pelt had escaped from her lock up. Rigsby having the spare loaded gun in the glove box was a good trick. I was so upset when Wayne Rigsby was shot, then Richard Haibach shot him again. I was surprised Van Pelt didn't sit and shake her head no to get Rigsby to not come to untie her.

Outside Haibach was going to do the Bob Kirkland interrogation on Patrick. I thought at first maybe Van Pelt was going to fall into Hazel and knock her down, bringing Haibachs attention to her and maybe Patrick can roll away or something. Wayne saving the day was great!!!! I cheered. Haibach standing there like"How did that happen!" Still worried when the Ambulance came Wayne would be dead. or was he evacuated my chopper? I bet though ground forces(FBI/PD) were also merging on the cabin. I liked the offer from Abbott to join the FBI. But for now can see why maybe they won't want to. Hope we hear how things are going periodically. And not have the family forgotten. Liked the Rigsby/ Cho interaction.

People in many Forums have problems with the Mentalist 2.0 reboot. At first some didn't like Agent Abbott, but now they do. Then we have lots of complaints about Agent Fischer. Well to me the beginning was kind of strange, her playing undercover to bring back Jane. But she is in my opinion coming around slowly. She is learning that Patrick does things his own way and gets results. And as Lisbon, Cho, Van Pelt, Rigsby, Hightower, Bertram, Wainright, Bosco, Minelli and many others learned. Patrick gets results and can't be pushed or controlled. I will miss Mr. and Mrs. Rigsby, hopefully if a season 7 comes they can do guest appearances.

I remember that a lot complained about the Red John story stretching out to long. Maybe Bruno and clan decided save the shows rating they had to do something with Red John. 1) Have Jane expose and either kill, or lock up Red John, 2) Have it go on as it was and maybe the show died after this season.or 3) Have Red John, say you know I have tortured Jane enough, maybe I'll move to the south seas!!?? Well we know even though it was hastily done they took the 1st option.

And who knows, especially if it is picked up for 1 or 2 more seasons you might find that Red John is still out there. Some on another Forum have been tracking signs that prove he is still alive. You don't need a cryptic smiley face to prove that, lol

03-30-14 "Violets" 6.16 I really liked this episode. it had more of a "Leverage" feel to it for me.
Lisbon played the defenseless gf real well to Jane. Both women in my opinion looked real good. Was surprised the whole team went along with Jane's idea and no questions asked. Well Pike, a little. Also liked that Patrick told the whole dept. what was up. More then just the core 5. I wouldn't mind more like this again.

Liked Abbott in the bar and then Cho punching Aaron Pulaski. Then Abbott punching him and the 2 guys escape to Jane's place. Pulaski looked like he had 2nd thoughts as he and Edmund MacKaye went to clean out Jane's house.
For Pulaski being a boxer and MacKaye ex military they really didn't get to show their stuff. maybe lucky for the team.

At least Pike asked Wylie about Jane and Lisbon before he asked her out. So he could see something between them.
Patrick coming in after Lisbon and Marcus Pike make plans seems a bit confused and startled. He sits there thinking what happened, I believe when they left. He is probably a little confused. I think he thought the play house made him and Lisbon comfortable.

Nice that Jane got the picture back for Silvia Hennigan. To bad her hubby John didn't make it.

Many thought this would be a red john story, but it was just another story.
I liked it, about the ratings, they have gone down not up, but that is partly cause the show airs late sometimes, and it is off and on, you never know when it will be on, or if it is on time.
Some set the dvr but dont get the whole show.
It was not on this past sunday, but is back on the 13th!
that is no way to air a show.

I liked this show too, the whole FBI team is working now like the old cbi team did.
I think it needs a whole season without red john to see how it does, but I think CBS is planning on canceling it.
If so they need to end it properly, so they might give it a short 7th season to wrap the show up.

04-13-14 "Silver Wings of Time" 6.17 The bomb that took out David Renaldo, set by PI Peter Koch made me think of NCIS:LA. I did figure lady(Gina Petrocelli) with her baby carriage had something to do with it. Then they were checking cams around area it made me think of Person of Interest. Nice they had an ATM cam right across street. Then later we find Koch dead. Wasn't sure what could have been in Rinaldos briefcase. We found out he had info. that could have made Luis Cruz in jail innocent.

  I thought at first it was May Feinberg that killed Sara, Edwards(Q from ST:TNG, ST:V) 1st wife. That is why she came along to station to wait. But while whole team worked on Edwards confession I thought maybe I was wrong. The clock announcement from Wiley's computer threw me off, but I figured it would play in the case. The fake time to trick them to think the execution went on was good. Well even though they didn't prove it was May they put enough doubt in Edwards head to get him to help them. Worked out nice.

Patrick asked Lisbon about her date with Pike. Seems he is interested. Then later she looked nice when she had another one that night. "Night Jane". "Night Teresa".

No it doesn't.

The mentalist has been winning its hour in the ratings, so maybe they give it a S-7!
I enjoyed the last one too, the new team is having fun "working for patrick"

04-20-14 "Forrest Green" 6.18 When they didn't really want Patrick and Lisbon in the Forrester Private Men's Camp, I figured there was something up. Patrick wanting to go off and "do man things" was funny. He also telling Greg Dyer that his clothes didn't fit in, I figured later was a telling sign. I was surprised he would kill Price just because she caught him putting a cam in the "Fishing Camp" cabin. I know it was an accident. But him and Killgallen dumped the body. Patrick and Lisbon doing the magic show was cute. Abbott knowing the cabin was bugged was a nice thing and to "deal" with Dyer was nice. Also Cho and Fischer, and Wiley had just enough work too. Wiley knew when Cho asked for help it was for Jane was funny.

Abbott coming out later to help at the camp was a nice thing. Even if Patrick and Teresa were stepping on toes he didn't bawl them out. But I wonder with a rumor about Patrick being looked at closer about the death of Red John(Sheriff McAllister), I wonder if after they tricked Marvin Gryska, that he talked to someone else.

I didn't think the killer of Madison Price was the Agent Greg Dyer. My figuring was at first Kenyon Russell or Marvin Gryska. later it included Peter Killgallen(until he was killed), Grant Kimura or even Pam Parsons. Liked how at the restaurant Patrick quickly interviewed the waitresses to find Pam, Madison's lover. He telling Lisbon she needed to be with a good guy was a nice thing. And later when Lisbon and Pike were out to dinner and Pike tried to fib about a date and Lisbon telling that she liked a man that couldn't lie well was quite telling of her thoughts of Jane. Wonder if Lisbon will go with Pike if he takes DC job??

One other thing that got hit me later was that Ranger Green was the one to show Jane and Lisbon the body. Detail wise she fit right in. Matching the title. Always thinking there show.

04-27-14 "Brown Eyed Girls" 6.19 I didn't think Thaddeus Delahey was the kidnapper of all those women. he may have been a peeping tom or a rough bf, but he was trying to help Leanne Cole. When they figured that he had picked her up by the closed bar, "Padres", I was surprised they didn't have a team search it. Or was it because Leanne was dirty they didn't figure she had been in the bar? Then up at the cabin on the hill,they find a dozen beds in the bld. and Patrick finds Daniela Walker. Why was she left behind? With them visiting her in the hospital at one time I thought maybe she was in on it somehow. Maybe used for bait? Later when Cho stopped in and told they hadn't found her sister Amy, I thought, hmm love interest for Kimball??

Scam part one at the truck stop and the "Police Blockade", I figured Abbott and Fischer would be there to watching the parking lot. Liked the 3 doing the CB talk,"Big Pete". They are putting the CBI 3 together again more often. I hate to see though Fischer cut way out of it all. When they ran out of the cafe chasing Ramon and Claudia Fornham, I to didn't think they were a team. Also a man at a table watched with awe that Lisbon pulled out her badge before exiting the truck stop. I thought that maybe he was the other trucks driver. But they had departed earlier in the day.

Scam two, I was surprised that the brothers Ali and Ray Quasimi fell for Janes ploy. They could have just as well sent the guards to swap the money for the girls. Abbott had second thought about the trip down. His hat seemed a bit small to me. Cowboy Jane looked ok. Normally he would have had Cho or Rigsby with him. I did notice at the warehouse in Mexico when Jane showed the Hula Dancer to the Quasimi brothers that at first head on he was holding it around the waist.Then we see from Janes right side camera shot he was holding at the base.

Jesse(James O'Connor) the talent scout was taken out too. A Quasimi Brother in interrogation told the team,"he will bury you!" Anthony Tremel called Mr. Michael Ridley(Glen Childs, The Good Wife), he must have power and money? Will be interesting to see Jane take him on.

I still wonder if the telephone tracking that Van Pelt and Rigsby stumbled into with D.A. Osvaldo Ardiles murder will come back? They blamed it on Richard Hibach and his sister Hazel when they kidnapped Van Pelt and supposedly murdered J.J. LaRoache. But I don't think they were smart enough to pull that part off. Could be Osvaldo was trying to get evidence on Ridley for court action?? (An easy way out writers).

Even though Lisbon thought that Patrick knew about the DC offer from Pike, it was nice to have Abbott tell her to talk to him. You could see that she was really surprised by his reply. "If that's what you want!?" Jane said to her. But Patrick was also surprised. I do see that it looks like next week he will harder for her to stay.

Well they are continuing the kidnapped girl story, and found out they are killing and taking organs from them.
they also are playing with patrick and lisbon, and he cannot tell her how he really feels.
Another fun show though.

05-18-14 "Blue Bird" 6.22 Well it was first funny how Cho told Jane that Lisbon was leaving and he didn't believe it. Then later Cho with Abbott in the restaurant didn't seem to know what was going on between Patrick and Theresa.
But after finding out about Lisbon's intentions Patrick solved the College student murder pretty quick. So his"buddies" thought they could not be suspects?
I kinda thought the letter about the cold case was odd. But it did keep Lisbon in town.
Patrick having the visitors in his hotel room when he wants to go after Lisbon was funny. Wasn't sure who the murderers were. Was it the ladies,
Jane leaping the fence at the airport to get to Lisbon. Sorry but on the plane as he explains it i had tears. Then Security takes him away and he sits alone in the interrogation room. I knew who was coming to sit by him. Lisbon!!! "Did you mean what you said about loving me?" "Yes" And her reply she loves him too. Asked him to say it again. I hope he has grown up some to take responsibility. Poor Pike
