For a "case of the week" ep 4x14 was rather good imho. But yes, the ending was really sad ... Parrish's daughter having to see, how her father is shot right in front of her eyes and then dying under her hands ... knowing that she thought he was a liar all these years, never having responded to all his letters from prison ... that's tragic ...
I think the showrunners just had the feeling that this time they wanted no happy ending ...
BTW, at least Cath had some scenes again!

Well tscc the general plan by all networks, was to air a show or 2 in Jan then another few weeks off and come back in march.
Right now this week, the winter olympics is on every day, and I guess they dont want to compete with that.
This week no new shows except for monday , had a new almost human, Following, and Intelligence eps.
rest of the week all reruns.
I still have the cable shows, Justified, Banshee, black Sails,Teen wolf, but that is it.
At end of feb more cable shows start up, like bates motel, continuum, the americans, vikings. and at same time the other network shows come back, so from too little to too much
