OK great ep.saw it live, so many things happened it is hard to remember them all.
Samaritan is alive then it is dead , then it is alive again! and the mystery man has it now.
I was disappointed when Harold had him smash the disc's. so was glad to see it survived after all.
Root went thru some crap and now only has one working ear!
Control now works for the machine .
The machine needs to take better care of my girl root! one more ear goes and their relationship would be gone.... or to text only.
Reese comes back to save Harold, then says he is leaving again.
But he was in previews for next show, where I think Harold is flying a airliner! LOL
Root is off on her own again I think going after Samaritan , and I have to wonder if the machine sees Samaritan as a brother or sister of a sort to save ,or does it see it as a threat to be destroyed.
I thought it would have been cool to have the machine talk to the other guy who was dying at the end, be fitting for him to talk to a AI, before he dies.
So as usual a very good episode, and looking forward to the next ep.

I had really hoped that we might pick up a few people here with this site, but so far nothing.:-(

Finch/Shaw/Arthur(Warehouse13)Claypool are being questioned at gun point by Hersh and Ma'am Control(GhostWhisperer,Harry'sLaw,CriminalMinds). And yes I thought Harold knew she wasn't Diane Claypool, by the way he told Artie that you finally noticed. I do wonder why he did talk about sensitive info though in front of her. How did Root escape her lockup to come and shoot the Agents and free the 3? Also Shaw's quip,"Sorry about the blood spray!" was cute. She didn't have to compete today with Reese's dry humor on every scene. When they steal the car and Shaw has the shootout with Hersh and the other Agent I said why can't Hersh be hit???

Root is wounded and tells Shaw to leave her. As stated elsewhere, did the Machine tell her to stay? Hersh shoots the camera in the room and stomps her phone to try and stop the Machine from helping Team Machine. But in the cage Ma'am Control thinks her shots will make Root talk. Root looks good in a t-shirt by the way. I almost thought Root was faking it as she was under the influences of the shots. How does Root get the info. now that she has no phone? Seems in the cage she was getting info. She did look at Controls phone laying there. Wonder what the removed ear bone will play in this later? Root still seemed to get her messages. Maybe a implant of some kind? Where did the guards that Root said were watching them go to when she had Ma'am Control in control? Was cute Root saying, "Help Me!" "I'm not talking to you!" Ma'am Control was confused.

Flashback to 1979/1980 Harold and his Father was cute. It seems Harold's dad had the same problems that Arthur has. Maybe why Harold can relate to his friend easier. Nice to see young Harold work on the old computer trying to get more power. Then warn his father that people maybe after him. He gave dad some book?

It seemed by what Root showed on Arts computer that the Pseudo Bank Manager had more drives then the 2 that Arthur stepped on. I do see why she could have been wounded, she didn't work for Control or Vigilance. She later gave them to Greer of Decima. Wondered what was up with them? I knew he would shoot her at end. Maybe she should have said others know about it? Even if it was a bluff. Why didn't Arthur just bring it if they figured Shaw would spring them in time? Shaw and her pipe bomb sprang them worked. Her and Finch discussing her as the hammer and Reese as the scalpel was funny. Shaw saying she had "Finesse coming out her butt", and "It's hammer Time!". That explosion in the bank on the promo made me think that Harold had blown up the Library to protect his secret. Wonder if Arthur will be around to help Harold?

Vigilance does now seem to know there is or could be a all controling machine out there. That could make them even more dangerous? Peter Collier was trying to warn "the man with the glasses". "Good Day, Mr. Collier!" I like that Harold is refined using "Mr. Reese, Miss Shaw, Miss Groves!" for his associates. But for friends like Arthur and Nathan he is comfortable using first names. We heard Harold and Arthur talking about Nathan again. In the Vault when Harold talked about "Samaritan" being close to working and then Gov. shut down, he didn't really say that his Machine was working either. He did say he and Nathan used Arthur's information. But didn't Harold say his to was shut down, or did he avoid it?

Fusco and Reese waking in the jail cell was funny. Fusco telling Reese next time he was in trouble if they fight. Surprised Reese told him he could really hurt him if he wanted to. Fusco gave him a nice talk about Carter before having Sheriff Skip let them out. Fusco told he hadn't heard from "Glasses" in awhile and that wasn't like him. It must have set off some warning signs in Reese. Now they hauled butt from Colorado to NY City to dress as SWAT to save Harold, Shaw and Arthur from Hersh and team. But then again Reese isn't ready to come back full time and leaves again. Det. Fusco is back though which is nice. Maybe Zoe will have to talk to Reese? Where is Leon? And no Elias either. But he probably don't want to get messed up with the feds.

This was just another outstanding episode. I can't believe it, what hell of a ride we already have gotten in season 3 so far ...
Especially Amy Acker's playing was phenomenal.

I for one didn't, but others seem to have better ears:

I could hear up to 17 hz in the test, but heard nothing in POI from the phone.
Plus with control talking, it was hard to hear any beeps, which makes it hard to believe root after being drugged up and down could then hear and decode the beeps, while she is talking and in her condition.
But the whole idea was cool writing, however I dont see the sense in having roots ear permanently damaged now.
I wonder if this is done with purpose for something else down the road??
Right now I dont like it I found it rather irritating.
the other complaint I have is Control herself.
I dont particuarly like the actress, but aside from that I dont think a person in her position would be so brute force oriented and demanding immediate results.
I would have taken harold and arthur away like she did root, and then be in no hurry to get info I wanted, and it would be better .... and smarter to find a way to get them to talk or go along, without hurting them, and surely without killing one of them.
Same thing for root, there was no reason for the brute force tactics.
so she no longer seems believable as a smart person or shrewd leader.

I also find it hard to believe that some viewer could actually hear some beeps, and hear it all even with control talking, and also know Morse code !! LOL and also someone who posts on the internet.

Ok the forum here was working badly for 3 days, pages took forever to load, now it is back real fast again! so yay to that.
Webruce posted at the POI wiki, so I replied to him over there. for 3x12.
Turns out someone spotted that root was in japan in the last scene?

Also I DL some frequency mp3's and I could hear all of them.
I found out that those high frequencys can get lost with any change in the audio, or the equipment you use to hear the soundtrak.
my tv speakers are small and I dont know if they do the 5 to 1 sound properly.
I know if I play a movie using my receiver for sound, it is 2 channel so the 5 to 1 has low volume and certain sounds dont come thru.
