Yeah, despite the a bit longer episodes this season feels kind of rushed, especially compared to the pretty slow pace of former seasons. And though ep 7x06 was exciting to watch, it has some rather big issues for me. First they now completely ignore any sense for travelling times. It feels that all the locations are right around the corner ... even dragons shouldn't be able to teleport ... ;-) But that's just due to the short season and they just have not much filler plots to cover that up and I can forgive that. What's worse, is that they now obviously have to use the typical last-second rescues even several times in one episode to increase drama in a cheap way. But what really annoyed me with this episode, was how ridiculously easily the Night King killed the dragon. They probably excuse that with some magical power, of course, but honestly it looked like the Knight King used some kind of antiaircraft missile ... LOL ... they should have at least used something like a big ballista similar to Cersei's. I mean, when the Night King's dead army just conveniently marches around with giant chaines to pull dragons out of a lake, why couldn't they also have a giant ballista to fight dragons in the first time?? Seriously, to kill a dragon in that easy way, was really a downer for me and didn't match the usual GoT quality ...
Nevertheless I can't wait for the season finale!
