hmmmm not bad, allie is shut down ,city of light is turned off.
I wonder if it was stored on a server where ever it was.

was allie lying about the nuclear plants ??
If not , I dont see how they will deal with that.

Nice to see lexa again, wonder when she filmed that?

Yeah, that was a great season finale!
I just hope, that Luna will play an important role next season, because they still need a compatible nightblood to carry "The Flame" (Alie 2.0).
I'd like it a lot, but I don't see a chance to get Lexa back other than virtually (how about Becca also?), because though her mind might be stored in the Flame, how could she get her body back?? As far as I read, Alicia filmed the finale scenes months ago, someone spotted her filming on set and I think there were even a few pictures of the filming floating around the internet then.
To my own surprise and though Pike might have seen it coming and deserved his fate, I didn't like at all, how Octavia murdered him in that cunning way. For her own revenge that bitch almost screwed the whole mission several times ... I think I'm done with her character and I wouldn't mind if she just disappears in season 4.
Speaking of the nuclear power plants, I don't think Alie was just making that up and stalling. But I don't get, why the cores of those nuclear power plants would finally start to melt down only six months ago ... 99 years after the nuclear war caused by Alie. When the power plants were damaged by the bombs then, how could they work for almost 100 years or at least be kept from melting down that long (was Alie accessing the electronic steering devices and able to control them to some extent?)??? And right now it is happening?? That definitely needs more explanation in season 4!

The 100: Eliza Taylor on Season 3's Shocking Finale and Setting Up Season 4
16 May 2016
By Eric Goldman
The 100: Season 3 finale airs Thursday night and expect it to be another huge episode for the show. Going into the finale, the AI known as ALIE seems unstoppable, as every attempt to stop her has failed. I spoke to Eliza Taylor about what Clarke will do next and more on the finale and recent episodes, as Clarke finally reunited with her old friends.
Spoiler Warning: While there are plenty of secrets still protects, this interview discusses some plot points of the finale – including a notable guest star – previously revealed in trailers, photos and by The 100’s cast and crew.
IGN: Not that The 100 is a stranger to dark events, but we left off with things in a very dark place last week. So what is Clarke’s next move given that Ontari seemed to be the last hope and there’s trouble coming at them from everywhere?
Eliza Taylor: There really is trouble coming from literally everywhere. Ontari was their last hope but as you saw in that last episode, she is now brain dead. So we’re in trouble. But I’m really excited for people to see the finale. I’ve been saying that for a long time now. Since we shot it, I just feel like it’s one of the best episodes. I haven’t seen it myself yet but it’s very interesting and complicated and I think fans are going to be happy. Yes. there is trouble coming from every which way but hopefully Clarke’s got this.
IGN: The preview does show that you’ve taken the chip and are going into the City of Light. What might that experience be like for Clarke?
Taylor: Trying not to spoil things! [Laughs] I can tell you that for Eliza it was very interesting because I had not been a part of this whole chipping thing for the whole season, so I was like “oh this is how it work!.”
IGN: Also was it different for you just on a production level? You guys film in sound stages and outside in the woods. What was it like filming in the city?
Taylor: It was great. I had no idea, going into shooting downtown for three days or whatever it was, how quickly people would catch on to the fact that me and Alycia [Debnam-Carey] were shooting intimate scenes in the city center. Within an hour we had fans -- like twenty to thirty fans -- with banners and signs and flags and pictures to sign, waiting for us and staying out in the freezing cold wanting to talk to us, for hours and hours and hours. I was just so… I finally kind of got the message that “Oh! We’re kind of a popular show.” I didn’t know until then. It was really cool to shoot downtown and then actually communicate with fans of the show.
IGN: That was a nice nice segue there, thank you, since you mentioned Alycia! We know she is in the finale in some capacity. What can you say about her appearance?
Taylor: I’m sure people can gather how she’s in the finale but I really do not want to spoil that one to any extent. What I’m very happy about is how important that is for other people and fans to see the two of us together again. It’s going to be a pretty unexpected way.

IGN: As you said, you weren’t a part of the City of Light storyline and for a lot of the season you were in Polis away from a lot of the cast. What was it like for you to reunite with some people you haven’t worked with in a long time in those last few episodes?
Taylor: It’s been so great. And I love how much of a callback it is to Season 1 seeing this group of kids together again. Actually they’re not kids anymore. They’ve grown up so much and for me personally, it was so lovely to actually reconnect with Marie and Bob and Lindsey and Chris and Devon and everyone. I got to see how their lives were going because I’d been so segregated, doing my own thing in Polis for so long, we just hadn’t really hung out. It was so great to have the gang back together. It felt like Season 1 again and felt fresh again. It was kind of cool that we spent so much time apart because when we came back together we were excited to work with each other again and I think that comes through when you see them driving off in the rover on their next mission. You’re like “Oh, yes! They’re back together and it’s going to be great!”
IGN: And then of course, terrible things happen.
Taylor: Of course. [Laughs] That’s our M.O on this show.
IGN: Speaking of which, we left off in the last episode with a lot of characters’ lives directly on the line. Should we be prepared for the worst in this finale?
Taylor: I don’t know if it can get much worse than watching my mother hang herself and blaming it on me but it’s like I always say - with The 100, just when you thought it couldn’t get darker, it gets darker. I think people will be quite shocked in the season finale but that’s why you guys are still watching.
IGN: Do you ever get the script and say “Can it be the ‘Clarke has a tropical vacation’ episode?”
Taylor: That’s exactly what I want and I’ve said it in so many interviews hoping Jason [Rothenberg] will be like “This is Season 4: Clarke finds a tropical island and all these really chill dudes and lies on the beach, drinking margaritas and says ‘I’m done. I need to relax.’” I think there’s a good spinoff there.

IGN: You guys got an early renewal for Season 4. Was it great to see that vote of confidence again?
Taylor: Yeah. That’s the second year in a row that we’ve gotten an early renewal and both times I was shocked. Not because I don’t think our show is amazing, but the first two seasons - it’s only now that people are really paying attention to the show. I was absolutely overwhelmed and happy by the renewal, because it took so long for people to get attached to it. I’m still like “what? Another one? Amazing!” I have no idea what Season 4 has in store for us but I feel very grateful that we get to continue this story. There are so many shows like this that don’t get the opportunity to continue their story and I’m so excited.
IGN: Your first two season finales had intriguing threads for the next seasons. Does this one also have a “Oh, what does that mean?” thing happen?
Taylor: You know what, that’s a really good question because there were two different endings we were going to use and I’m not sure which one they’ve gone with. Either way, people are going to be like “Oh my god, now I have to wait another year! F**k!”
I’ll be very interested to see which one they went with. Either way, it’s going to be an “Oh god” moment.

OK that was a good interview.

that bitch almost screwed the whole mission several times.......lol she has always been
self serving , what she wants always is her priority.
I stopped liking her in S2.

I am glad she killed pike as I did not want him back for S4

how could they work for almost 100 years or at least be kept from melting down that long?............. Well good question, for all we know allie may have caused the problem.

This is one thing i have thought about if something like WD scenario happened, is that
with no one to maintain N plants, then they could all melt down and cause some bad stuff.

I loved the finale, I was glad Clarke was able to take the Flame, I figured that would happen, I think the Grounders may actually choose Clarke to be their new leader, she did save them, and clearly she was Lexa's choice as a successor, I loved Octavia turning on Pike, and she remains one of my favorite characters, blood must have blood. I hope season 4 gets more episodes.

Ok I have a question for you 2 ez and tscc.

What was the AI's goal in all this ??

I know she wanted to build a virtual community, but what was her goal,
and what did she want to do with the humans, and grounders?

I dont think they ever explained that, and what had she been doing for 90 years?
Was she lonely? lol
have a god complex?

They could have done much more with this AI story.

As I understood, Becka created A.L.I.E. 1.0 to help humanity survive or even to save humanity.
Unexpectedly A.L.I.E. 1.0 had a bit of a "too direct approach" to solving problems, when she just launched a nuclear holocaust to solve the problem of over-population. For the few survivors, who had to suffer from the results of the nuclear war, she also had the solution. Have them eat the chip and thus transfer/copy their consciousness/personality to a server, the virtual City of Light. Finally, after all human bodies had died, humanity would have existed only as a virtual copy in the City of Light, without the pain, fear, sicknesss and all the other shortcomings of a physical human body. Voila! Humanity successfully saved and transfered to paradise ... mission accomplished ...
The only problem for A.L.I.E. 1.0 was, that she had no one to physically bring the chips to the Grounders and to talk them into swallowing them. She just had to wait and that finally only changed, when Jaha came to her base and was eager to become her missionary ...
So, no, I don't think A.L.I.E. 1.0 had a God complex. She simply followed her programmed purpose to somehow save humanity ... what in the weird logic of a computer A.l. would have been successful by the transfer to the virtual City of Light.
One could even say, that A.L.I.E. 1.0 only wanted the best for humanity and did what she thought was best to secure the survival of humanity. It also feels quite logic for an A.I., who is existing on a server, to consider the virtual existance in the City of Light as an equal or even superior alternative to the physical existance with a body.
I for one liked the A.I. story complex. I just wished they had shown more of Becka and how she survived after getting to the ground.

Well that was a good explanation tscc, probably better than what the shows producers
might say lol.

solve the problem of over-population....I must have missed that, never knew why she launched.

My main interest was alie and that aspect of the show.
I didnt really care much for the rest.

There is another AI show coming on based on the movie westworld.
Instead of just a killer robot, it will be a AI.

Thinking of that movie, I think that movie might have inspired terminator.
It was a terminator, just not as bad ass and not from the future.

I'm pretty sure, that won't happen, even if the show might end. Killing all and everything would be too much, even for a dark show like The 100.

Right now after S3 the number of 100 might have fallen to 44 according to this:
