NFL 2016 General Discussion

I hang out at cowboyszone.com and before game 1 I started a thread that there could be a QB controversy
between Romo and Dak.
And I said we should go with Dak till Romo is 100% and maybe the whole season.

I got torched lol I think 1 or 2 other posters kinda said maybe, and the rest let me have it, saying Romo
was the man etc etc.

Now after week 4 the forum is about 65 % Dak is good but Romo is better, and should start soon as he is ready.
and about 35% Say Dak is better and we should stay with him.

Some are even starting trade Romo threads lol.

So now there is a controversy !!!!

If Dak can beat Cin and GB it will probably go to 50/50 , as many have said Dak hasnt proved he can beat a good team yet.

So dont know if your interested in this, but you should be and your readers or viewer, might like some of this cowboy
stuff since we are playing you guys soon.

ok I will go the opposite, cowboys beat cin
and giants beat gb, they always do lol.

I think the Packers will have the better record when we play, I think the Bengals and Pack both win this week.

cowboys 3-1 ! we now have a better record than GB !!
Looking to be 4-1 coming into GB, if packer lose to giants, you will be 2-2 lol.
I really hope GB beats giants, that will help us, and then we will face a team with a winning record for 1st time.

I am excited about Cin game, sure hope dak can win this one.
AJ Green is the main thing I would take away, triple cover him !

I predicted before season they might have a good defense with shwartz, and dallas could have had him ,but didnt want him.
He has a attack defense, not the bend dont break crap.



I wonder what rams fans are thinking ??
They got a project qb, and they could have had this guy lol.
Also cleveland fans have to be cussing their FO too?

I see packer won, but also Minn beat Carolina !! defense again, and bradford is 2-0 lol

Hopefully the cowboys help your team and put another loss on chicago ?!

Dallas vs chicago,  lol we should win this,but with dallas and jg I never know.
GB vs Lions,  Lions have played good, so they should give your team a good game.

I watched the titans play game 2 , and they are better, but do some things I dont
like, They could be better, I am starting to think their HC is not as good as I thought.

I thought they would run more, and have henry and murray in at same time.

The way they are using them , neither one gets warmed up or in a groove.
So far they have thrown to them, with success, so I like that, that is something
dallas should do but hasnt.

They now have 10 days to prepare for buffalo, so they should win that game too, and then cleveland
is bradys first game, so they should be 5-0

NE is very scary, just how good will they be once Brady is back from his suspension

Houston offense didnt cross the 50 till late in game?

Tennessee has a good run defense too, GB's run defense is ranked #1 in the League right now, they've given up 78 yds in two games, not bad at all!

Well AP was shut down week 1 too, seems they got rid of some linemen from last year, and it hasnt turned out too well.

Bradford looked good in his first start for minnesota.

I was highly impressed with the Packers Defense too, they shut down AP... their run defense has been garbage the last few years so to see them hold back to back teams under 50 yards was nice...The Pack offense will come around, i'd rather them struggle early and click late... it will take a little bit of time for Nelson and Rodgers to build back up their chemistry

O and titans win in a late comeback so they are now 1-1 !

all 4 teams in nfc west are 1-1 !!
Rams are 1-1 and have only scored 9 points in 2 games !!
Seattle is struggling on offense too. no lynch and rawls hurt I guess, and CM had a fumble that was costly.

Speaking of fumbles, elliot had 2, and right now he looks like a bust !
Although it seems all RB's are not doing all that great.
only one went over 100 1st week, and he had 28 carries for 106.
Havent checked this week.

I would prefer morris start for cowboys, and elliot play small role till he shows he can do better.

Well I watched the GB game, and the minn defense is very good, helped them win the game.
Also I was rooting for bradford, and he did quite good for his first game there.
I felt sorry for him in philly. glad he got out of there.

And Cowboys win !!!!!!
It was fun game, back and forth leads, dak played better in this one.
Now we get 2 easier teams, no easy wins, but next 2 should be winnable.

Dak Has his first win, and first rushing td, so more confidence going forward.

I think Minneosota will take a step back, if the Packers offense stays healthy, they'll be tough to beat. I think the Titans will be much improved, don't know about the playoffs, their whole division should be good

Well I am excited to see how Dak does today, hopefully good!
Also gonna root for the titans this year, I think they may surprise people and
make the playoffs.

GB now has some competition with minnesota so not as easy as in the past.

Well I agree on the game tonight, mainly due to denver has no qb, never heard of the guy that is starting.
If their defense is still as good, it wont be a major step back, just a step.

Wont be the raiders, they need to get in playoffs first, and of course dallas will be nfc champs this year!

, keep the faith, I'm thinking 8-8 would be a good year for Dallas, if they can win that many.

If their defense is still as good, it wont be a major step back, just a step.

Yes it was a catch, but that was irrelevant because this was still 5:40 left on the clock and The Packers ran the clock out, when Rodgers was kneeing on the ball they were on the 15 yd line, very makeable fieldgoal for the win, the same problem will plague the Cowboys this year, pretty good offense, subpar defense.

What would I have done if I was the Vikings... Went with Shaun Hill, he just as good as Bradford, would still have a number 1 pick. Plus, you still have AP, Bridgewater didn't exactly blow the wheels off of anyone with their passing game last year, run the ball, play defense, which is what won them the division. Now you lose a #1 pick, for a guy who has NEVER lead a team to the playoffs, and he'll probably be hurt by midseason.

same line that got Romo hurt three time's in less than a year.......... usually not the line play
but that they have no answer for when guys come free on delayed blitz.
This last one was free getting beat, but was more on romo for not just throwing it away.

I think the Vikings wasted a number one on him....... so what would you do if you were in charge of vikings?
